How to map

Since drink:beer=* is a non-physical tag it should be combined with one of these (physical) tags:

Value Note
drink:beer=yes if beer is available (without specifying the manner of its availability)
drink:beer=retail for shops and other places retailing beer
drink:beer=sales for resellers (not necessarily a shop=beverages)
drink:beer=served for restaurants, bars, clubs, shops, etc who are serving beer
drink:beer=draught if beer is draught
drink:beer=bottled if beer is put in a bottle here
drink:beer=takeaway if beer is "for the road", e.g. beer in a paper cup (see takeaway=* for more generic cases)
drink:beer=no if beer is normally available in these kinds of places but it isn't (e.g. you could give an amenity=pub without beer drink:beer=no)
