People (I suspect most if not all Americans) are unironically cheering for an automated version of what the Stasi did.

Basically the kind of manpower-heavy surveillance like the Stasi did has been done for a long time, but the full automation of it as done in countries like the US and UK has only been possible for about 4 decades for text (and for just keeping track of who people made voice calls to, but noy the contents of them) and maybe 2 decades for voice contents.

You need digitalization so that all communications are digital and computers to properly automate the tracking of people’s communications and voice-to-text software to convert voice information into text so that the automation also works on the contents of voice comms.

Mind you, what’s being done in the US and UK (and Russia, and China - it’s just that the US and UK were supposed to be Democracies) is the same as the Stasi did in East Germany, just automated and with no need to place eavesdropping devices to eavesdrop on conversations not over communications devices, as people nowadays carry their own personal eavesdropping device with a microphone, camera, full networking and fully controlled American software in it - the smarthphone - so it can just be remotelly ordered to record and conversations and images in its range.

I suspect a lot of the influence of Israel and the US on European politicians who again and again act against the European Public Opinon and in favor of Israel and the US, is the ton of blackmail material those two states have gathered on politicians the world over in the modern era of digital communications mainly via American systems, using portable networked pocket computers running OSes from American companies and which have everything needed to be a fully-features surveillance device, including a camera.

Every single vaguelly criminal or even just shameful action of any European politician with a chance of reaching a position of power, done via or around a smartphone or computer running an American OS and/or using American chat software, is almost certainly stored in a database somewhere.

Certainly that would explain A LOT of what’s going on in European Politics, especially when it comes to Israel turning full-on NAZI whilst European governments mainly just make believe nothing is happening or propose purely symbolic performative measures with zero effectiveness in stopping the Genocide.

The German government is apparently blocking EU Sanctions to Israel but that’s because it’s pretty easy to block things in the EU.

Making the EU actually do things (such as banning this band from entering the Schengen zone) on the other hand is way more difficult since the other ones can block it (which Spain would almost certainly do it on this subject and many others would do simply because they’re against blocking people to enter the EU just because one EU nation’s government discords with them politically - the bullcrap about criticism of Israel being anti-semitism has very little traction in most of the EU and apparently judging by recent news it has no traction even in the German Justice system).

I would say you’re in the right track but wrong direction: it’s more that people who kill government officials mid-negotiation and do not at all abide by what they’ve agreed with in the past, aren’t seen as reliable to negotiate with.

So it’s not that they can’t on the Iranian side after the US killed government officials find somebody who is “reliable to negotiate a piece”, it’s the other way around: nobody on the Iranian side now believes that the US with a Trump Administration is “reliable to negotiate a piece” with.

I would say that the ultimate impact on Mankind of Climate Change is itself outside the scope of Climatology by itself - by its own nature it would be an interdisciplinary effort involving at the very least Climatologists, Sociologists and Economists.

Psychological Trauma does not transmit through Race.

People can intellectually UNDERSTAND it, and then apply their own morals and principles to make judgements on such events - which is what you describe doing yourself - which is not at all the same thing as FEELING the pain that a victim feels and actually changing as person because of it.

What seems to have happenned with the history of the Holocaust in Israel was that the intellectual understanding of it was guided to interact with a totally different part of the human psychie of Israelis - their Tribalism, rather than their Empathy - so they feel that they’re doing the morally right things whilst de facto doing monstrous things, because they’ve been convinced such things are required to “save the Jewish People from destruction”, something they’re constantly reminded was attempted before.

It’s way harder for outsiders to shape the profound changes to a person as result of being victimized (it literally takes years of Psycho-Therapy to even just abate the trauma) than it is to shape people’s intelectual judgment on stories about things done to those they identity with, and supremacists (such as Nazis and Zionists) invariably use stories of past victimization of those of the etnicity they claim to represent to both strengthen people’s feelings of their Race as the most important group they belong to (i.e. of their Race as their tribe) and to spin a fable of how the Race is under attack and anything at all they do against the “enemies of the Race” (with supremacists deciding who those “enemies” are) is something they must do to “protect the Race”.

It’s not by chance that some much of what Zionists say and you hear from Israelis is pretty much what Nazis said and you heard from Germans in Nazi Germany but with different races as the superior race (which the former call “God’s chosen people” and the latter “ubermenschen”) and for those they claim are their inferior racial enemies (both calling them “vermin”) - the exact same process is being used to shape people into violent ultra-racists who will do anything no matter how monstrous to “protect the race” and will even feel good and righteous about it afterwards to the point of shouting out to the World that they did it (which these two to did by taking this picture and posting in on social media) - these people are genuinelly proud of what they see as their righteous fight to protect their race.

I would say the Holocaust actually made it MORE LIKELY that a Jewish Supremacist nation would arise and that they would do their own Holocaust, because the stories of the Race being attacked used by the Nazis had to be heavilly spinned, whilst the Holocaust is barelly spinned (the only spin is to make it sound as the Jews were uniquelly targetted for extermination. not mentioning any of the other groups targetted in it, such as the Romani, 1/4 of a million of whom were murderer) and is genuine proof that somebody really tried to exterminate their ethnicity, hence it’s far more believable (because it’s the unbelished truth) than the stories the Nazis used about how their race was being victimized. Only about 10% of the population of Israel are Holocaust survivors or descendants of Holocaust survivors, as most Jewish immigrants to Israel by far came from Russia and the Middle East, not Western Europe.

The only psychological bond these people have to the Holocaust is having grown up in an environment were a supremacist political movement - Zionism - used stories about it to convince them that their race was under attack and that anything at all they did to “protect” the race was totally acceptable and justified - in other words, the memory of that tragedy were entirelly different people suffered, was twisted and weaponized to indoctrinated these, totally different individuals, to become rabidly racist violent supremacists.
