Bio

I'm Catelyn Johnson, and I'm a solo dev and new mom. I've dreamed of making games since I was in college and my family told me to go study something "reasonable", which I supposedly did, and later became a librarian with a Masters in Library and Informational Sciences. But the dream just wouldn't die, and I spent 10 years in Unity tutorial purgatory before switching to Godot and focusing on just getting started making tiny things - not even games, just projects that maybe work. The recommendation to take Dr. Malan's free online CS50 Python course was priceless, and taking it was a life changing experience. It really helped me get the confidence to just GO FOR IT and start churning out whatever I could just to try stuff.

Tea Stained House is a community collective I started as a place to showcase both my friends' art and all my projects. The games here on Itch.io Tea Stained House will primarily be created by me, with guest appearances by my friends via their work, and at some point I'll finally finish building that website so that we actually showcase all of our stuff there properly... It's a bit of a mess right now, so please pardon its sparseness!
