Samsung has started showing Samsung Health users a controversial notice requiring them to consent to their data being used for AI training if they want to keep their data from being deleted.

They make smart watches, and half the features of these smart watches are health and fitness data.

Sounds like it’s not really your data then, it’s theirs.

Somewhat misleading. The data is only deleted from your samsung account if you refuse, but you can still keep and track it on device.

Yes, that can we worded much better but the grammar checking people and software developing people have different communication styles.

If you sign up for a Samsung account you’re a rube.

I’m not in the all-or-nothing crowd. I can both have an account to make my life easier without seeing nag screens about accounts AND store absolutely no data in there. Also I recommend making a totally new account everytime with wrong genders to throw off the numbers.

Features shouldn’t come with an ultimatum over personal data.
