About Worksection

Worksection is an all-in-one project management platform that replaces five separate tools — a task manager, planner, time tracker, work chat, and file storage — with one system on a single per-user price.

Built for teams of 5 to 50+ — agencies, IT, consulting, manufacturing, and construction — especially teams that bill clients by the hour. Manage tasks and subtasks, plan with Gantt charts, Kanban boards and a calendar, track time with hourly rates for client billing, discuss work inside each task, and keep files where they belong. Reports and dashboards turn project data into decisions.

Unlike tools that sell time tracking and client billing as paid add-ons, both are built in. Free for teams up to 5 users. Worksection has been doing this since 2008 — GDPR and ISO 27001 certified, available in 11 languages.

Pros: Convenient project management across multiple departments, centralized information storage, transparent task status tracking, quick identification of bottlenecks and delays, ease of use, fast onboarding and adoption, effective daily team collaboration.

Cons: So far, no significant drawbacks have been identified, and the platform has been working smoothly and efficiently.

Overall: After switching to Worksection, it became much easier to track projects involving multiple departments. Previously, some information would get lost in emails and spreadsheets, but now everything is organized in one place. "A Reliable Tool for Team Collaboration" Posted 2026-06-06

Pros: Easy to manage tasks and projects, with all information stored in one place. I like the ability to track deadlines, monitor task progress, and discuss work directly within the system. The time-tracking tools and team workload management features are also very useful.

Cons: Some features take a bit of time to set up and get used to, especially if you've previously worked with simpler task management tools.

Overall: We use Worksection to organize our team's work and manage projects. The main reason we chose it was to keep tasks, communication, and deadline tracking in one place. As a result, it has become much easier to monitor project progress and identify which tasks require attention first.
One feature we particularly appreciate is that the entire work history is stored within each task. There's no need to search through emails or chat messages to find agreements or recall discussion details. This is especially valuable for long-term projects where maintaining context and quickly accessing information is important.
Since implementing Worksection, our workflows have become more transparent and easier for the whole team to follow. The platform does a good job of supporting day-to-day project management and helps keep everything organized, even when handling multiple projects at the same time.

"For team collaboration — it’s exactly what you need!" Posted 2026-05-26

Pros: • fast onboarding and team adaptation
    • simple and intuitive interface
    • time tracking
    • everything organized in one place

Cons: I’d like to see a bit more flexibility in task filters, especially when working with a large number of projects and tasks.

Overall: We use Worksection for project management and task control within the team. What we like is that everything is simple and intuitive — no overloaded interface or long onboarding process. It’s convenient to track deadlines, see team workload, and log time spent on tasks. Another big plus is the notifications and comments system — nothing gets lost in endless chats.
As for downsides, sometimes we miss having more flexible task filters, especially when the number of projects grows. But overall, the system covers the main workflows well without creating the feeling that you’re “working for the system” instead of actually getting work done.

"Finally, Everything in One Place!" Posted 2026-05-18

Pros: On the positive side, work has genuinely become easier and less stressful. Everything is structured and easy to follow. The system is simple, but it really helps with tracking deadlines and managing the team.

Cons: From time to time, we’d like a bit more flexibility in the settings, but overall everything works well for us.

Overall: When tasks started getting lost somewhere between Slack, email, and work chats, it became clear that we needed a proper project management tool. After switching to worksection, work became much calmer — everything related to tasks, deadlines, and responsibilities is now organized in one place.
What we like most is that the system is simple and not overloaded with unnecessary interface elements. The team adapted quickly, and projects became noticeably more transparent and organized. Deadline tracking and reporting tools are especially useful.
As for minor things, sometimes we’d like a bit more flexibility in customization, but in everyday work it’s barely noticeable.

"The service is really helpful for work!" Posted 2026-05-15

Pros: Order without bureaucracy, tasks no longer get lost, the team stays on the same page, deadline control without stress, simplicity without unnecessary complexity, transparent teamwork, less chaos — more results, support that truly helps.

Cons: Too simple for those who love advanced features, simplicity sometimes borders on minimalism, lacks depth for highly complex workflows.

Overall: Worksection has become something like a “center of calm” for our workflow. Before, tasks could disappear in chats, deadlines were easy to forget, and responsibility often felt blurred between team members. Now everything is much more transparent: it’s easy to see who is working on what, what has already been completed, and where attention is needed.
What we especially appreciate is that the service doesn’t try to be overly complicated. There’s no need to spend hours figuring things out — tasks are created in minutes, deadlines are always visible, and team permissions can be managed without feeling like an “admin quest.”
And there’s one more thing worth highlighting — the support team. Instead of formal template replies, they respond quickly and actually help like real people.
Since switching to Worksection, there’s been far less chaos, fewer lost tasks, and a much stronger feeling that the whole team is moving in sync.

"Effective for long-term project management" Posted 2026-05-14

Pros: Effective long-term project management, a unified space for process coordination, stable team performance under high workload, flexible customization for different teams and projects, intuitive interface, quick onboarding for new team members, convenient task execution control, transparent activity history, team and process performance analysis, support for building a disciplined workflow

Cons: Possible complexity when scaling processes, team dependence on a single system, the need for regular monitoring and maintenance of task structure.

Overall: Worksection has proven to be especially effective for long-term project management. As the number of tasks grows and the team expands, it becomes even more important to have a single space for coordinating all processes. The platform helps maintain focus and keep a stable workflow even during periods of high workload.
Another strong advantage is the flexibility of the system. Workflows can be adapted to different types of teams and projects without feeling overloaded with unnecessary features. The interface is intuitive enough that new team members can get comfortable with it quickly.
One more important benefit is execution control. Thanks to the clear task structure and activity history, it has become much easier to analyze team performance, identify weak points in processes, and avoid repeating common mistakes.
Overall, Worksection helps not only with task organization but also with building a more disciplined and predictable approach to project management.

Pros: Ease of use, balance between functionality and convenience, task transparency, reduced unnecessary communication, structured deadline tracking, time savings on administration, workflow optimization, convenience for teamwork.

Cons: No significant drawbacks so far, fully meets our team’s needs, provides the right balance of functionality and simplicity for our workflow.

Overall: After trying several project management tools, Worksection turned out to be one of the most balanced solutions for everyday teamwork. What stands out is the combination of simplicity and enough functionality without making the workflow overly complicated.
From a practical perspective, it improves task visibility, reduces unnecessary communication, and makes deadline tracking much more structured. The system feels especially useful for teams that need transparency without spending extra time on administration.
Overall, Worksection is not just a task tracker — it actually helps organize processes in a more efficient way.

"A practical and simple tool" Posted 2026-04-28

Pros: convenience, simplicity, intuitive interface, all tasks and files in one place, good workflow organization, process control.

Cons: requires time to get used to, initial adaptation period for the team.

Overall: To be honest, at first I saw Worksection as just another task manager, but in practice it turned out to be much more convenient than I expected.
We’ve been using it for a few months now, and it has really simplified our workflow: all tasks, files, and discussions are in one place, and nothing gets lost. Before, we often had confusion about responsibilities and task status, but now everything is much more organized.
I like that it’s very clear and not overloaded with features — you can quickly jump in and understand what’s going on in the project.
On the downside, it took a bit of time for the team to get used to it, but that’s more about habit than the tool itself.
Overall, it’s a solid, practical tool that genuinely helps keep processes under control.

    3. Transparency of processes
    4. Helps maintain discipline

"A simple and convenient tool for working with clients" Posted 2026-04-13

    Pros: 1. Convenient client collaboration
    2. Less back-and-forth communication and misunderstandings
    3. Everything in one place
    4. Clear and easy-to-understand reports
    5. Simple and intuitive to use

    Cons: 1. Limited flexibility
    2. Lacks deep customization options
    3. Limited integrations
    4. Interface feels somewhat outdated

Overall: We started using Worksection mainly because we needed a simple way to keep clients in the loop without endless email threads. In that sense, it does the job really well.
What stood out to us is how easy it is to share projects with clients. You can give them access to specific tasks, leave comments, attach files — and everything stays in one place. It noticeably reduced back-and-forth communication and misunderstandings.
Another strong point is reporting. The built-in reports are clear enough to quickly understand project progress and team workload without exporting data somewhere else.
However, it’s not the most flexible system out there. If you’re used to heavily customizable workflows or deep integrations, you might feel a bit limited. Also, the interface feels a bit outdated in some places.
That said, for teams that value clarity and straightforward collaboration (especially with clients), Worksection works reliably and keeps things organized without overcomplicating the process.

"One of the simplest and most convenient tools." Posted 2026-04-06

Pros: Simplicity, convenience, a single space for tasks, files, and discussions, process transparency, easy progress tracking, reporting capabilities, reduced workflow chaos, improved team speed and coordination.

Cons: Time needed for team adaptation, the need to get used to a new tool.

Overall: We spent quite a bit of time looking for the right tool for our needs, tried a bunch of different options, and eventually chose Worksection.
In practice, it turned out to be one of the most straightforward and удобных tools we tested. It fits our marketing agency really well — everything is simple: assign tasks, track progress, generate reports.
We’ve been using it for about 4 months now, and there’s definitely been less chaos in our processes. It feels like the team is working faster and more smoothly, probably by around 40%.
Overall, it’s a solid, no-nonsense tool that just gets the job done.

"A Well-organized service without unnecessary complexity" Posted 2026-04-03

Pros: The tool is genuinely convenient to use. You can assign tasks and track their status without unnecessary hassle. It includes convenient time tracking, a calendar, and a Gantt chart. Even the reporting system is user-friendly.

Cons: On the downside, I sometimes miss having a desktop client for offline work, but it’s not a dealbreaker.

Overall: We’ve been using Worksection in our team for a while now, and overall the experience has been positive.
I like that everything is well organized: it’s easy to assign tasks and track their status, there’s a clear time tracking feature, a solid calendar, and a Gantt chart. The reports are also convenient — you can quickly get an overview of what’s going on across projects.
Another plus is email notifications — nothing gets lost. It’s also great that you can manage access levels and there’s no strict limit on the number of users. Customer support is really good as well — fast and helpful.
On the downside, I sometimes miss having a desktop client for offline work, but it’s not a dealbreaker.
Overall, it’s a reliable tool for day-to-day work without unnecessary complexity.

    2. Greater transparency
    3. Time savings
    4. Fast onboarding

The onboarding process was quick — the interface is user-friendly, so even new team members can easily get up to speed. It has also become much easier to track overall progress, while the team has gained more autonomy in managing tasks.

"Simple and logical project management tool" Posted 2026-03-16

Pros: Well-organized workflow, clear project structure, good visibility of completed and upcoming tasks, convenient timeline planning, easy coordination within the team, intuitive navigation, practical for everyday project management.

Cons: No major downsides noticed so far, it may take a short time to get familiar with all features.

Overall: I came across Worksection while working on a project with a team that was already using it for task and project management. At first, I treated it simply as another work tool, but over time I started to appreciate how well the workflow is organized there.
What I liked is that it’s easy to quickly understand what’s happening in the project: which tasks are already completed, what the team is currently working on, and what is planned next. The Gantt chart turned out to be especially useful, as it clearly shows the sequence of stages and helps keep deadlines under control.
Overall, the service gives the impression of a well-designed tool for teamwork. Nothing unnecessary — everything feels logical and convenient for everyday project work.

"Clear task management for remote teamwork" Posted 2026-03-16

Pros: Clear and intuitive interface, quick and easy onboarding, ability to break tasks into smaller sub-tasks, structured workflow for multi-stage projects, discussions directly inside tasks, convenient file and chart sharing, clear deadlines and responsibilities, transparent project progress tracking, helpful for remote team collaboration, everything related to the task stored in one place.

Cons: Some features take a bit of time to explore, limited customization in certain areas, it may take a short time for new users to get familiar with all tools.

Overall: I joined a project as a freelance data analyst, and the team was already using Worksection to manage their tasks. To be honest, I expected it would take some time to figure everything out, but it turned out to be quite straightforward. The interface is clear and easy to navigate, so I got used to the workflow within a day or two.
What I liked most was the way tasks can be broken down into smaller sub-tasks. In data analysis there are usually many steps — preparing the data, running the analysis, building visualizations, and creating reports. When each step has its own task, deadline, and responsible person, it makes the whole process much more organized and easier to manage.
I also found it very convenient that discussions happen directly inside the tasks. You don’t have to search through different chats or emails to find information — everything related to the task is in one place. It’s also easy to attach files, charts, or analysis results right there.
Another thing I appreciated is the ability to quickly see the overall project progress and understand what stage the team is at. When everyone works remotely, that kind of transparency is really important.
Overall, working with Worksection has been a comfortable experience. For projects with multiple stages and several team members involved, it’s definitely a practical and useful tool.

"IT project management has become more efficient." Posted 2026-03-10

Pros: Clear task and project structure, communication and approvals within tasks, storing all task-related materials in one place, convenient task filtering and control, transparent responsibility distribution, task prioritization, quick adoption by the team, improved process management.

Cons: No drawbacks were identified during the use of the system.

Overall: I manage IT projects, including the development of applications, websites, and internal CRM systems. Using Worksection tickets, I build a clear task structure across boards that represent different areas of development. All communication and approvals take place directly within each ticket. We also attach mockups, documents, sketches, screenshots, and any other materials related to the specific task there.
It is convenient to use filters to export tickets: by responsible team members to quickly see who is in charge of what, by the person who created the task to review the situation from that perspective, and by priorities to understand which tasks are the most important.
There are usually a lot of tasks, and Worksection helps maintain structure and order while improving process management. I have already used tickets in three large projects, and each time the system is quickly adopted by colleagues and actively used in daily work.

"A Reliable Tool for Managing Projects and Tracking Time" Posted 2026-03-09

Pros: Worksection helps conveniently manage projects and tasks, break work into stages, assign responsible team members, and control deadlines. The timer allows tracking employees’ time, and reports help demonstrate completed work to clients and calculate team payments.

Cons: New users may need some time to get used to the system. At the beginning, it can also take time to properly set up projects and workflows, especially when managing many projects at once.

Overall: We have been using the Worksection task management system since January 2023 and work in it every day. On average, we manage more than 25 projects per month.
We actively use tasks and subtasks, comments, and private comments for internal team communication. The timer helps track how much time employees spend on completing tasks.
The system makes it easy to break complex projects into stages, assign deadlines and responsible team members, and keep the workflow transparent for clients so they can see the project progress.
We also use reports to demonstrate completed work to clients and to calculate employees’ salaries based on the work performed.
I can confidently recommend Worksection to digital agencies and companies that need to track employees’ time and sell their team’s time to clients.

"Focus on work, not on the tool." Posted 2026-02-25

Pros: Ease of use, fast task creation, clear timeline visibility, lightweight system, improved transparency, fewer unnecessary meetings.

Cons: Fewer integrations than Jira, limited automation, custom workarounds required for some ML processes, not covering 100% of needs.

Overall: I lead an AI team as a Tech Lead: some specialists focus on research and models, while others work on production features. With a large number of tasks and constant changes, it’s easy to lose sight of the bigger picture. We tried Jira and Trello — the former felt too heavy and complex, while the latter was overly simplistic. In the end, we chose Worksection.
Its main advantage for us is ease of use and speed. A task can be created in minutes, with a description, checklist, files, and deadlines added right away. The timeline provides clear visibility into project status — it’s easy to spot bottlenecks and see who might need support. This is especially valuable for a distributed team and helps reduce unnecessary meetings.
Yes, compared to Jira, it offers fewer integrations and automations, and some ML processes require custom workarounds. However, this trade-off is justified — the system stays lightweight and allows the team to move faster.
Overall, Worksection covers about 90% of our needs. For teams that value flexibility, speed, and process transparency, it’s a strong choice.

"A great tool for teamwork in a design studio!" Posted 2026-02-25

Pros: Centralized workflow, easy sprint planning, transparent communication, deadline control, time tracking, reduced email overload.

Cons: The main drawback is the inability to work fully without an internet connection.

Overall: Worksection plays an important role in our design studio and has essentially become the central hub for managing all processes. With it, I can oversee multiple projects at once, assign tasks to designers, and keep track of deadlines for mockups, brand books, and UX concepts. Thanks to automatic reminders, the team is far less likely to miss deadlines.
All project communication and materials are gathered in one place: mockups, logos, and presentations can be attached to tasks, discussed, and versioned. This has significantly reduced the amount of email and simplified collaboration with clients. Time-tracking reports provide clear insight into the effort spent on each task, making it easier to plan budgets and balance the team’s workload.
