    Pros: One of the best integration and easy engineering are possible by using WinCC. In my experience i worked with Alstom aview & ds agile, abb micro scada, ignition, Schneider ds agile and ecosui and finally WinCC. WinCC is one finest and easy for engineering and integration configuration works. For scripting C ; vb script are there . NMS, web navigator, web ui & ux configuration, available lots of industrial and power sector protocol it would support.
    Iec 61850; iec 104; modbus; opc; profibus, profinet, etc.,

    Cons: For power sector integration you need install supporting tools to integrate but that also from siemens.
    When it comes to modbus tcp/ip while starting of integration frequent communication issues would be there you cant resolve the issue but once communication and engineering work properly established and completed it works good.

    Overall: It's one of the finest tools to work with.
    Whatever the industry might be building automation, power & energy sector, industrial automation.
    For engineers and user, client would love to stick with same products.
