Pros: 1. Device discovery is easy, NetBrain even walks you through troublesome devices.
2. Automation diagnostic runbooks are easy to create and maintain
3. Large vendor support list
4. Asset tracking is a breeze
5. Many backup mechanisms within with configuration compare, these are known as baselines
6. Discovered IP address table at your fingertips
7. Excellent search capabilities
8. Natural path discovery (all routing paths can be displayed if known)
9. Manual diagramming is a thing in the past, all maps are dynamic!
10. Golden baselines can be setup with ease to be able to note changes in the environment that effects stability.Cons: 1. Not effectively geared for MSP’s, More enterprise focused
2. Automation network change module needs further maturity
3. Expensive to license
