I love this software. I have been doing unix systems administration in large sites since before the Internet had a ".com". Last year, working at a new job where there were many, many legacy systems and a co-worker with a long history with the company and an incredible memory, I needed something to keep up. Doing some research, I found racktables, installed on my linux workstation, my co-worker and I looked at it and thought it looked acceptable. East to set up, easy to use, and easy to maintain. All good! And it is has turned out to be all those and reliable and sturdy as well. Over the past year, I got pretty much everything entered, we moved all our systems to a new data center, and are now using it for inventory purposes as well. Thank you, racktables team! Well done! (It is now running on an actual server system, and I wrote a simple backup script for it, so it's all good!)

Really nice software! We started using it for asset management - and ended up planning a whole DC move with it...

Nice project, We might be using this for our company and customers. Would like to see some more multi tenancy and maybe the possibility to hide the objects and rows where a user has no racks that he owns. I followed this in your wiki: "Permitting a user to view his own assets" But he still sees other infrastructure as blacked out. He might not be able to click on it, but it would be nice if it would be hidden for him.
