Archcraft

Archcraft is an arch-based rolling-release distribution aimed at users who cares more about minimalism and aesthetics of their desktop. It comes pre-configured with various lightweight applications which makes it super fast. It can run under 500Mb of memory. There's no desktop environment in (main) Archcraft, just two highly configured window managers - Openbox and Bspwm.

The default username & password is 'liveuser' for live ISO.

The installer can be found in the app launcher and in openbox menu under the Application > System category, namely 'Install Archcraft'. Archcraft uses two Installers, Calamares and ABIF

I enjoy exploring different platforms, and caught my attention. The website runs fast, and everything is well-organized. One of the best things is that for Thai users, deposits are easy, and you don’t have to go through any complicated processes. Everything was quick, and I didn’t face any issues.

My favorite distribution, hands down(using hyprland). Highly customizable, and most importantly, for those inartistically inclined like me, it's tough to make it look not good. The config filesystem is easy to locate and identify potential edits as they have tutorials in the config comments. They put a lot of thought into it. Finally, it's Arch-based, has no bloat, and has high performance. Easy five-star!

Been a user since original release. This is a well thought out, beautifully themed distro.. Strictly WM based each WM is themed, configured and setup. Keybindings remain relevant across Window Managers, pacman integrated nicely. The one issue Arch Linux users may dislike is use of the Chaotic AUR, personally its a welcome change.

Beautifully themed openbox distribution. You get both OPENBOX and BSPWM & the repo contains the i3 and DWM editions as well, however, their openbox is what you'd want to try this out for. Ofc this is not for everyone, people who want to tinker with WMs should give it a try. You can install with cala but they also provide another advanced installer, which is fun to tinker with.
