currently I don't have a working SN or Mavericks installation but we tried to make preparations to make it compile using MacPorts.
The trouble we have with OS/X is that we couldn't get the installer stable for each platform so we decides to use MacPorts. The problem we that we don't have enough MacDevelopers for proper support.
We are also happy to support brew but we didn't get any requests for it yet.

Latest's installers are build with XCode/clang + a downloaded verison of Qt 5.2 and required lib's like boost.
I don't use macports anymore for these builds.

What are the current most stable versions for LibreCad for SnowLeopard and for Mavericks ? Are Xcode and MacPorts still required for stability?
Hey,

We think the latest 2.0.7 dmg is stable for Mavericks. Please let us know whether it works on SnowLeopard.
MacPorts is recommended, whenever LibreCAD by the dmg installer doesn't work properly.
Ticket moved from /p/librecad/patches/44/
I think Ries has fixed for latest OSX releases
Not sure about older versions (10.8 and older), but most users should have upgraded ever since.
