Lots of them are only exposed to right-wing propaganda and they literally don’t know how much responsibility for Covid falls on Trump. Their YouTube algorithms literally feed them false stories about Covid, Iran, and more while sowing distrust in fact-based science and reporting.

Targeted content is so much more dangerous than anyone thinks.

Dude basically murdered her and in the end when given the chance to go back to her planned life she chooses to stay with him. It’s apparently okay for someone sentence you to death and deceive you into sleeping with them as long as they’re handsome.

What they used to get in trouble for was using an actual engineer’s seal without permission. We’d tell that engineer and they’d go nuclear on the developer. So now they fake a stamp to keep from getting sued.

The conservative woman they talk about here is an engineer. Almost all the engineers I know work 60-80 hour weeks.

That’s the thing with lots of Americans. We work so hard to pay the increasing rent and take care of ourselves and our families that we simply don’t have the time or energy to see outside the bubbles in which we live. We don’t go through the process of researching everything we hear on the news, so we’re easy targets for propaganda - especially now that it’s got algorithmic targeting to steer specific people in specific directions.

These people really, truly believe the lies they’re told about immigrants.

Not paying the CEO a 38 million dollar bonus and instead keeping the devs on board to create future products for way less than 38 million dollars is more profitable.

I do it for 2 reasons:

1. Make sure everyone is supposed to be there. I’ve had people show up to meetings that weren’t supposed to be there and everyone else thought they were with one of the other groups in on the meeting.
2. Figure out if the other side tried sneaking in a lawyer. If they bring a lawyer, we need to bring ours.

My commute sucks ass. With traffic it’s about 3 1/2 hours a day in the car.

But I do get a $300/month gas stipend and the job does pay about $16/hr more than I made doing a similar job with about 2 hours a day in traffic. So the money part works out. I also live alone, so there’s less reason to want to spend more time at the house than if I had a family.

I enjoy the backpack detection mode they have on laptops to make sure it turns on, overheats, and drains the battery anytime you take it somewhere you’ll want to use it unplugged.

If you want to ease yourself into the Voron life, Sovol makes the SV-08 which is essentially a Voron clone. I think they’re alsonthe biggest manufacturer in the game that doesn’t try to do a branded slicer. They’ll just tell you to use Orca. I have the SV08 Max (500mm^3 bed monster) l, and I’m enjoying it.

The Bambu printers I started with (A1 mini and A1) definitely have more polished experiences and WAY more print profiles available. Bambu is hard to beat in the “it just works” category, and I actually still recommend the A1 mini for someone who wants to print little things here and there and isn’t interested in 3D printing itself as a hobby.

Did you listen to it print? If it’s really wet sometimes you can hear a cracking sound as the moisture boils off. It causes little steam pops, which also result in that scrappy surface finish.
