I don’t think you actually believe that.

1·11 days agoI still don’t know where you’re seeing anyone saying this isn’t American’s responsibility to fix, much less anyone saying any country is at fault except maybe Russia.
Believe me, no American thinks Australia is at fault for Trump and definitely don’t think you’ve got the ability to do anything like that.
Sorry, I’m an American and you hate those, so I’m not sure any advice I give you would be taken in good faith.

1·12 days agoAnd the people who did go out and vote, who are trying to fix it, can fuck themselves too then, right?
I mean solarpunk could use all sorts of cooling techniques and future scifi ac that isn’t bad for the environment
It would’ve made more sense if the sword was in a stone that you had to pull out
If u say sorry u won’t tho :3

1·13 days agoThe balls to say one of the guys who helped make this situation happen then to say that it’s doesn’t count. If only you and your government could use those balls to do more than be a diplomatic doormat.
The wealthy elite taking over everything, abusing people, exploiting workers and the planet, these are global problems, not just American ones. A lot of the rich people live and operate outside of the US but it’s folly to think their influence is only in the US.
You’ve bought things from American companies, consumed American media, and poured your own money into their pockets.
Trump is the result of all of this. It’s the rich trying to take over our country in earnest, out in front instead of in back rooms.
And I can guarantee you, personally, played a small part in enabling it.
I also know that this conservative wave, because of Trump, has been hitting Europe and Australia. So pretending it’s not your problem is also folly.
No one is asking you to fix this for us. People are doing what they can with this takeover to stop it.
But don’t pretend you’re not in a global market and that the US isn’t tied in with Australia, and don’t pretend you’ve not given money to the people backing Trump in your own way.

2·13 days agoHey, guess what, people have been trying to organize a peaceful shut down but that’s hard to do for a country about the size of a continent, and when people are already working three jobs to have enough money to survive and worried they will be homeless if they take a day off.
And no, sorry, you don’t hear about everything people are doing, because a lot of those changes happen locally. You hear about the new mayor of New York, but you don’t hear about a new progressive DEI program in a smaller town in Alabama. You don’t hear about a local neighborhood ice watch in Minnesota. You don’t hear about a petition going around in Ohio to reform voting on a local level.
You don’t hear about people starting phone trees, ride shares, food banks. Hell even people in the area might not know about them.
So sorry that what people are doing isn’t sensationalist enough to make international headlines, but it’s the sand in the gears and the level people on the ground level can actually do.
Also if you think your country’s media doesn’t have bias, then you’re ripe for indoctrination and propaganda.
U goin there now
Turns out the stuff like cavity protection and everything needs to sit there on your teeth for a bit to actually work
I also found out I was taught to brush my teeth incorrectly.
Apparently you are supposed to use mouthwash, then floss, then brush, then let the toothpaste sit on your teeth for ten minutes instead of rinsing immediately.

7·13 days agoSo when your country’s government is complicit, it’s not your or the citizens’ fault, but when it is someone else’s country every citizen is complicit and deserves it.
Being a better version of you is for your own sake, not for others and also in spite of them.
One of the beautiful things about becoming a better person is that it doesn’t end, because you don’t have to stop growing. You don’t have to worry about being perfect, just trying to be a little better each day
Don’t worry if you still have more growth to do, that can be a fun and exciting aspect to life!

So sanctioning is basically a big government version of a boycott, cutting the us off from money. Like, not buying bonds and whatever, not trading, etc. Asking people to do that isn’t the same as asking people to come over and fix the problem, it’s asking people to not help the problem.
You’re scorning people who want out, but then saying you’d be fine with minorites, who are most likely the people who are trying to get out. Also those monitors you listed are all the Americans you think so poorly of.
You can’t say “fuckem all you fix it” while saying “well not all… And I’m fine with my government getting your government fuck over the people I just omitted”
