Notorious Lemmy outlaw. Still post under this account, but these days I mostly post from alt names from my own private personal instances and VPNs. Or do people just say I do that? Truth? Or lies? I never respected your authority. Never will. I’ll keep saying whatever the fuck I want, wherever I want. You’ll never know my alt names, never know my servers, and never silence me. I’m everywhere. Meh, I’m not afraid of the weirdos or their opinions. Bring one, bring all. I’ll block who I don’t wanna deal with. Blocking is sooo easy to do, I just don’t understand why you want total bans when blocking works just fine.
I mean, no offense, but it sounds like you want the fediverse to be your way or the highway. But the whole point of the fediverse is so not one person can have say over everyone else. That’s why people can just spin up their own instances. I have several of my own instances, just so I can do and read whatever I want. I think instances having their different rules on who and why they ban is fine.
I totally respect your opinion, I just don’t agree with it.

I did see an entire post/threads a couple of months ago that accused me of having 300 accounts that I controlled from an apartment in Europe or some shit, and that I oversaw a staff that I paid to do it.
All that to post on fucking Lemmy. No one has even fucking heard of Lemmy, so the fact that there people who believe anyone is getting paid to post here is hilarious to me. The reality is that I live in the US, and fucking garden all day, mess with my yard, and take walks to the park every day. The fuck are people here smoking?!
I’ll have to look it up and find it again, it was fucking crazy. Ahhh.. fun times.

Great point. I remember I when I first got accused of sealioning, I didn’t even know what the term meant and had never even heard of the term before. By the time I looked it up, someone had banned me for it. After finally figure out what it was, I still don’t think I did it. lol
I personally think that “sealioning” one of the more stupid and way too vague terms of the online world. I see so many accuse people of it, but I see rare examples of it actually happening.

The problem is with the word “troll” and the meaning. Because on Lemmy, this is just now used as a common catch-all insult, and many say it about anyone who disagree with them.
I know a lot of people considered (still do, I guess) me a troll, simply because I never changed my mind and I wasn’t bullied off of Lemmy. I personally think trolling is if someone is saying stuff JUST to piss people off and ragebait. I never did that. I just said what was on my mind, and that pissed people off. But I don’t think what I do is trolling. I just have some unpopular opinions like voting third party, thinking all opinions should be allowed, etc.
Either way, I think just blocking someone that is too much for ya is easy enough. We don’t have to get this deep about the subject.

Yeah, I get that. I honestly wouldn’t even go to an outside gym if I didn’t get it for free, because my home gym has evertything. But I found out I push myself harder when I am at a real gym and in the inside gym.
I feel ya on the physical labor front. Last summer, I decided to moonlight with the school’s janitorial crew during my teaching break. Figured, “how hard can it really be?” Oh man..I was wrong. Between the deep cleaning, operating heavy machinery, and maintaining the outdoor grounds, I thought I was going to either die or end up permanently disabled.
No joke, it took nearly six months for my lower back and knees to stop screaming at me. That shit is definitely a young person’s game!
On a related note, my girlfriend’s 13-year-old son is a total string bean who’s suddenly got the workout bug. I’m planning to bring him to the gym with me, but we’ll stick to light weights for now since he’s still young. He’s also talking about joining the track team, so I’ll run with him to get him ready. Hopefully, he catches the fitness bug and makes it a lifelong habit.
Yeah, it’s nice. I retired from public service (elementary school teacher) at 50 last year. And my pension insurance plan has free gym membership for Planet Fitness, YMCA, and a place called VASA fitness. So I signed up for all three. I’m assuming for the insurance people, if the people they are insuring are more healthy, then they save money. lol
It does sound nice, but my freaking insurance is like $600 bucks a month. The insurance is just taken right out of my pension check, so I roll with it since I don’t have to do anything. But since I pay so much, I try to take every freaking free thing they offer.
The Planet Fitness is only 1/2 a mile from my house tho, so I just walk there.
But I will say, humidity is sorta worse. My hottest days in Florida, always seemed hotter that my hottest days in AZ.
