Personally — my definition is any time you post something that isn’t constructive to the topic (or the comm) with the intention of distracting others from constructive discussion (typically, by getting them to engage with you instead).
I think there’s an art to it, and some trolling can be fun, as long as everybody’s having fun. Personally, I’m not very good at it. I say what I mean and mean what I say. But I don’t mind as long as it’s fun.
We can wax philosophical about how simply moving a .app file to the Applications folder Just Makes More Sense and how the Windows Registry is such bullshit, but macOS has libraries and whatnot, so it kind of has a similar thing.
At the end of the day, on Windows simply removing the directory does not remove everything, just like moving the .app file to the Trash does not remove everything on my Mac.
Now, if Microsoft and Apple forced uninstallers that literally removed everything… well, if they both did it, we wouldn’t be able to compare them. But that then begs the question, “well then couldn’t someone just keep reinstalling a seven day demo?”.
I get it, he wants to say Christians don’t need the support of people they consider to be beneath them (which, let’s be honest, is most of the rest of us, not just the LGBTQ+ community).
So where are all the people who donate to GoFundMe when a Christian gets in trouble for mistreating one of those groups they consider beneath them? Shouldn’t they be spending their money here as well, to show that their “compassion” is great enough to not need help from “…those other people”?

I don’t wanna say “people are stupid,” but they are easily misled. And, also, to be fair, Steve Jobs kind of started that bullshit, only releasing the iPhone (initially) on a few carriers, and threatening to spend Apple’s entire net worth to stop people from using Android. Steve Jobs also did a lot of dumb and downright bad shit. He was not a nice guy. Most of Apple’s biggest fans realise this.
The pod controls just lent themselves so very well to the Nintendo 64 controller. The ideal way to play was with two controllers so you had two sticks. GoldenEye 007 also supported two controllers per player.

Tech blogs have been doing this for years. I get it, they cater to people who block ads. I block ads. But now I just assume their reviews and coverage is all sponsored. Because you don’t really know.
So is Fallout 4’s Dogmeat… sort of. The dog is established as male in the game, but they used a female dog (named River) to do the motion capture.

Well, for one, this is in the iOS 27 public beta (though, I started with the developer beta in July). So it’s not in the public software right now.
Siri being on means the keyboard doesn’t display the three suggestions at the top, so if the keyboard hallucinates some other word you typed (this is especially important with trace typing), you don’t have the option to pick an alternative. Apple wants you to talk to type, but sometimes I type because I don’t want everyone around me knowing what I’m texting.
It’s a global setting, and can’t be set per app, but Siri can be disabled and enabled in a second or less. There’s probably a way to set up a shortcut to do it.
It’s a troll comm. Shame they’re so quick to ban. They amuse me. I don’t interact with them because I want to see their trolling. Or rather, I don’t mind.
Edit: Just tried searching for it, it doesn’t come up. Maybe they blocked me? Weird because I never interacted with them (AFAIK). Not too bothered, I think it’s a case of the trash taking itself out, if true. I just didn’t mind them so much. Oh well.
Though, I am a bit annoyed with the Linux crowd coming into every discussion saying “just install Linux!”. If I had a PC, I would… but I have a Mac, and Linux on ARM64 is getting there, but I don’t think it’s quite there just yet. And I like what I have. I would like to get an old HP/Dell at some point and run a Linux server, though. I think that would be fun. But as a daily driver? Meh. I could, I just don’t want to.
Look into “the small web”. You can get a site that is kinda like a MySpace profile, but you have more control.

I have an XSX, but I hate changing discs. I wish they’d just implement that feature where as long as no other Xbox user has inserted your disc, you have a revocable digital entitlement to play without the disc.

Even if you think Telegram should have been banned: how does it affect YOU what another user sends a different user who isn’t you? At the end of the day, you simply aren’t affected. FYI, other apps have been used to send CSAM. Facebook. Instagram. Whatsapp. Hell, Snapchat was made for exchanging CSAM. Even Apple’s built-in technologies, such as iMessage, AirDrop, and Safari, have been used to view/transmit CSAM.
Meanwhile, nothing’s being done about the American politicians who are actually making CSAM (abusing children). So yeah… political posturing.
