Global warming appears to have shifted into a faster gear. After removing the effects of El Niño, volcanic eruptions, and solar cycles, researchers found that the planet has warmed at roughly 0.35°C per decade over the past ten years, compared with just under 0.2°C per decade from 1970 to 2015. The acceleration, which becomes visible around 2013 to 2015, appeared across five major global temperature datasets with more than 98% statistical certainty.
I remember the “micro ice age” in the 70’s. No one knows anything, core samples have shown the Earth has been way hotter. And somehow the glaciers melted w/ no human intervention. Its all BS
Yo, pathetic little Nazi, your mass downvoting campaign is gonna get you instance banned soon. Maybe you just go ahead and delete your account and migrate over to truth social in advance? Thanks.
Yeah Earth has certainly been hotter, but historic changes happened over thousands or millions of years, and still caused wide changes including many extinctions.
At this rate, we are on track for the most sudden change and the greatest extinctions in geologic history.
This dude is also an ice apologist, clearly a troll and or brain dead/no intention to ever see the world how it really is.
I mean, for half a billion years, the Earth’s surface was largely molten. Earth’ll be fiiiine…
Seriously, we’re getting as hot as it’s ever been while humans were around, and the change is accelerating.
(edit - got -> hot)
Earth WILL be fine, it operates on a much longer time scale. It’s every living thing that’s NOT going to be fine.
Sadly this is a display of the average American education level
