Micro.io drops you into a massive microscopic battlefield where survival depends on eating, growing, and outsmarting everyone around you. The goal is to evolve from a tiny organism into the ultimate cell by consuming food and swallowing smaller rivals whole. One scene shows small colorful triangles, rectangles, and circles scattered across a dark background with a faint white grid pattern. Another scene shows green circular shapes with spiked outer edges distributed throughout the play area.

The battlefield is populated by intelligent bots, and the game includes a "Karma System" that comes into play if you betray your allies. Strategic teamwork is an option, but treachery has consequences. Splitting your cell, ejecting mass, and using viruses are all tools available as you push toward becoming the dominant organism on the map.

How to Play Micro.io: Eat, Grow, and Survive

The core objective is to eat the tiny glowing food particles scattered around the map to increase your mass. Moving over smaller cells — bots — swallows them whole. When a larger cell is nearby, the move is to run. Forming strategic teams is an option, but the Karma System tracks betrayal.

Beyond basic movement and eating, three active mechanics shape how matches unfold:

• Split: Divides your cell in half, launching one half forward — the ideal move to catch fast, smaller prey. Requires enough mass to execute.
• Eject Mass: Fires a small piece of your own mass forward. Costs a tiny amount of size but opens up strategic plays.
• Viruses: Available as a tool to utilize during play.

Controls

• Mouse (PC): Your cell automatically follows the cursor.
• Virtual Joystick (Mobile): Located in the bottom left; steer your cell by moving the joystick.
• Spacebar / ✂️ Button: Split your cell in half, shooting one half forward.
• W Key / 💧 Button: Eject a small piece of your mass forward.
