Liberals need to buy guns, obviously for self-protection.
Why do you assume we live in the USA?
People in the 13th century were just 8 feet tall so a modern statue looks a little funny beside an older statue
Huh you’d need a lot of it though, right? I guess I stopped smoking around legalisation in Canada so I only know what I had available but the hash was always pretty dense. We’d break it up and mix it into ground up bud or tobacco for our joints but can you actually do just pure hash?
I can’t wait for the US to fuck off already
I kind of get it since they need funding to escape Google’s boot and AI is a money printing machine at the moment but it all seems shortsighted and poorly done. If they added AI features slowly and with caution I’d be happier but they’re buying into the “GAMBLE IT ALL ON POORLY CONCEIVED AI FEATURES NOBODY ASKED FOR” hype train which is just going to be a disaster
I’ve been pretty happy with the Zen Browser fork of Firefox (minus the fact that the lead dev seems to be a bit of an opinionated dick but it works well anyway)
At least they’re not injecting one or more marijuanas 😰
I kept reading it as “steal from a safe stethoscope” and thought I was having a stroke but I’m just dumb
I’m actually not sure and can’t find any information on that but if I were to make an uneducated guess, it would be that the statues themselves weren’t really a part of the original building plan; just the spots for them were with the expectation that they’d be added over the years like art on the wall would be.
But again that’s just a complete guess so take that with a grain of salt
My Ender 3 V3 (CoreXZ) has been perfect but I recommended the V3 SE to two people based on my experience but they’ve had nothing but issues 🫠
Maybe the disaster that’s going on right now with the AUR as a whole? I can’t imagine it’d be a fun time to be an Arch dev right now…
Yeah I used to be a huge advocate for Poetry and convinced my previous company to switch to it but it’s painfully slow when compared to UV so I can’t go back
That’s fair… lately I’ve been more of a Kubernetes configurator than a developer so I get you
I do agree partially but I also get wanting “engineer” to be a protected term. I think software design is probably one more valid uses of the term but I think applying it to everything ain’t it (I.e. sanitation engineer).
Tbh I’m happy enough just having a Software Developer title
IIRC you can’t actually use the title “Engineer” prefixed or not without having a P.Eng license here in Canada. Of course, that didn’t stop my previous American employers from giving me the title of Software Engineer but it’s not supposed to be allowed
You just need to setup a reverse proxy. My Jellyfin instance has been accessed from all over the world
Based doesn’t even begin to describe that man
Maybe just fill in everything between Canada and Mexico as avoid
This is what Canadians say is so great?
No, most of us hate it too. They just spend an insane amount of money on marketing themselves as all-Canadian which is funny considering they’re not even a Canadian company anymore.

"Man with Cup" sculpture by Sean Henry at Salisbury Cathedral, England (built 1220)
Was on a Wikipedia rabbit hole and found this art installation and I love the contrast of a sculpture of a modern dude in a suit holding a takeout coffee alongside ornate early English Gothic medieval sculptures.

Not in Québécois French at least
