It depends on whether you’re a server or PC. For PCs (as in personal computing) I agree systemd-networkd-wait-online.service should be disabled. For servers, I think it’s plausible that you require a network to be at all meaningful, especially if there’s some sort of database.

Maribou State reminds me of Blonde Redhead. If you want to give them a try, don’t start with Melody of Certain Damaged Lemons (which is popular thanks to the track “For the Damaged Coda” becoming a meme. I do like it a lot but it’s probably too indie rock for your tastes), try 23 or Sit Down for Dinner. they don’t just wrap locations in brackets, they wrap every single link in brackets so the software knows to make it a link. wikipedia’s big shtick is making articles have tons of link to each other so that is not easy to figure out which one is the location
