Only 10 years away from commercial viability. This time for real.

my understanding it’s an economic damage measure

They literally sell military gear. To this day.

They had a massive segment of military goods for sale.

    Had?

They also distributed general military gear

Still do. That’s why they’re still a legitimate target.

Am I correct in my understanding that Ukraine is targeting Wildberries because they were distributing parts used to manufacturer drones for warfare?

They sell all kinds of wares that help murder Ukrainians.

Russians signing up for the military need to get their own equipment since quite some time.

    Same with Wildberries competitor Ozon:

not to mention the french, who put bunch of their reactors near shore and won’t ever have problems with cooling

    About that: https://www.france24.com/en/france/20260712-france-temporarily-shuts-down-three-nuclear-reactors-over-heatwave

This happens literally every hot summer.

So America’s current administration could decide they don’t like someone for petty reasons and cut that whole country off from using one of the two most adopted phone OS in the world?

Yes but only WRT Play Services. AOSP is not affected. That’s why phones in China come with manufacturer specific replacements which is also why there are many different app stores there. Each manufacturer has their own.

Sanctioned nations shouldn’t have Android phones with Google Play Services in the first place.

    Why did they come?

These poor people are likely being used as pawns by the Moroccan government. Surely they’ve been lied to.

Achraf Maimouni, a member of the Moroccan Association for Human Rights, described the situation as “exceptional”. He said the Tarajal border had been opened “under unusual circumstances” on Thursday morning and people had crossed over.

Purchase 10 sq miles iround a mine Fill below any water table, fill with concrete

And that concrete is 100% carbon neutral and will never be affected by earthquakes.

    Deep drill

When drilling is suddenly OK, then forego the nuclear reactor and go straight to geothermal.

Ignoring options with the benefits of 24x7 steady state generation is far more idiotic.

Tell that to your nuclear waste buddies who oppose geothermal.

Relatively, yes, and not to mean somewhat. For the amount of power generated, the spent fuel/water is really not that significant.

Absolutely speaking, controlling nuclear waste for hundreds of thousands of years is impossible and any rationalization when cheaper and regenerative options exist is idiotic.

Fusion has been 10 years away, with proper funding. It never got that funding.

Fusion got billions in funding and it led barely anywhere. Meanwhile renewables are the cheapest mass market options.

    geothermal doesn’t work everywhere

So what. That’s why power lines exist. Coal is BS, nuclear is BS. A healthy mix of renewables is possible right now.

Coal ash is dumped into a retaining pond by the ton.

I’m not defending coal, so stop trying that whataboutism BS with me.

Renewables are cheaper than building new reactors. Fusion is always viable in 10 years.

Eigentlich egal was die Reiche macht.
