I added a ton of RSS feeds to our Fediverser listing a long time ago, mostly from niche textile sites, but I always feel weird posting them here since it’s not really original content. Also, is Fediverser even still a thing? It still works, but any time I try to do/add anything new, it throws an error.

Does anyone have any suggestions for getting the hang of the TFH short hop on a dpad? Maybe it’s better on keyboard/leverless/etc, or maybe my controller (8bitdo Pro 2 Wired) just isn’t very responsive or something. It takes me a ton of practice to even reach a modest success rate on attempting it by itself, let alone in combos. I’ve considered just ignoring it, but every short hop capable character uses it extensively in their combo trials. So it’s probably pretty important to their overall strategies, right? I wanna play Shanty!

There’s only one mod on !shavian@lemmy.world right now, and they haven’t been around in a little bit. Hopefully this is the right way to do this, I just wanted to get added as an additional mod besides @2910000@lemmy.world since I’m there a lot anyway. Figured maybe I could help.

First, I believe that currently there is only one Loops client, the official one. Most of the successful Fediverse platforms have a handful, all developed by different people with different preferences in mind. So, right off the bat, it’d be good if there were more.

There is a game, Arimaa, that was invented after humans finally got beat at Chess by machines. The idea was, design it so that the rules would be very easy for humans, but very difficult for computers. Also, make it playable (albeit less fun) with a standard Chess board. Unfortunately, it didn’t take that long for computers to beat us at that too… However, it’s still a really really cool game!

Since one can access Ibis from Lemmy, this ought to be possible right? I’m just a little shakey on the details. Presumably what you would do is first make an Ibis article, maybe ideally on a wiki subdomain of the community’s Lemmy instance, or else a specialty Ibis instance of an appropriate theme. Then, link to that article in the community’s sidebar/about area.

Does anyone have any idea how to get a Cosmo working on something other than Duxbury DBT? Like Braille Blaster, maybe? My makerspace can’t afford Duxbury, so this thing is only half as useful as it’s supposed to be… Neither the Cosmo manufacturer nor the Braille Blaster maintainers could figure it out.

Does anyone know if this is possible? I tried looking it up and couldn't find anything. Then, I tried to just do it, but it didn't seem to be working... Solid odds I was either doing it wrong, or it needs some kind of modification to work with 2 color in the round style. There's gotta be a way right?
