Have they tried offering high cash rewards to kids who snitch on people trying to hire them to be assassins? The article makes it seem like they do it for cash rather than because they were groomed.

Hmm you’re right this seems highly relevant… Very curious to see how it plays out.

That’s the least icky explanation for that gender disparity finding published a while back that I’ve heard! Thanks for mentioning it

Everyone in silicon valley who didn’t take those Mark Z. bribes must be pretty happy they stuck to their guns.

Despite committing well over $100 billion to the tech, Meta has been practically absent from the frontier AI model race. Its so-called Superintelligence Lab has turned into a “soul-crushing gulag” plagued with rock-bottom morale — and most importantly, it’s not getting results.

I mainly remember my aunt taping marathons and stuff off live TV (trying NOT to record the commercials by pausing the recording during them)

Let congress question him remotely via video chat, I’m sure we can get to the bottom of it

Excellent! I enjoyed pogo back in the day and have been playing with Walkscape recently. This seems right up my alley:)

    I’m curious too.

I think it would be reasonable to argue that training AI models on a song is more like sampling it than it is like recording a cover as far as what the model is doing mechanically. If they decide to treat it like a cover they’ll still have to deal with paying whoever has the writers credits for sales and ancillary usage.

Yeah I would love to prop one on my apt. roof, it’s flat so it would be easy to stabilize something up there

Oh wow I’ve not responded to one of those texts (I always report and block) but I didn’t realize they would actually try to argue with you. Wonder if it’s a text bank or a bot.

Good to know, I might have bought one casually without researching.

A happy ending to what could have been a tragedy! Good job.

I’m sure nothing has ever been his fault in his narrative

And hopefully eventually it won’t be profitable to make special difficult ones for the US (though it is a big market)
