It’s usually comedy; only occasionally are there more dramatic entries like this. Adds depth.
Honestly, the fleshing out just sort of happens as the story progresses. The main thing for me is knowing who my characters are, what they want, and what their relationships with each other are like, and then what kinds of things could be introduced to mess with them.
That starts to fall apart when you get into fantasy species.
My crossovers tend to perform better online than my regular comics.
She’ll never know that she was the one taking the Help action to boost Tamilda’s Dexterity (Deception) check.
It’s the only way to handle a bard.
She’s got a whole thriving ecosystem in there.
Those numbers will vary a lot between individual subreddits.
I’m sharing my stuff wherever I think I can find an audience.. Reddit will be included until it becomes untenable. (I exclude Xitter from that because I don’t like Nazis.)
I don’t know, I haven’t blocked anyone. Different apps might render community links differently?
Laughing at the idea of billionaires being a “marginalized group”.
I do post here! I don’t have my whole archive here, but I started !loveandhex@lemmy.ca recently and crosspost from there.
Of course. My comics aren’t popular enough for random people to repost them for karma or whatever. (Except the occasional mass-appeal ones like the dragon language one or the modern mimics.)
What an absolutely wild take and insane crusade to embark on.
I’m getting multiple references to “Beep”… I’m clearly out of touch. Can you explain?
We post to Reddit because there’s a huge potential audience there. It’s goofy that Reddit would take actions that dissuade us from using their site.
Readers can have a little Loss, as a treat.
I think all these sites are blocking or hiding external links because they see people going to other websites as a threat to their dominance/profit.
She’s trying to get it out before the ceremony… It’s just been challenging.

Getting ready [Love and Hex]
Hey, the changeling is still here! It’s her wedding! Don’t let the other characters’ shenanigans distract you from her story. (This is more a message to myself than to you.)

Blind Date [Love and Hex + Feral Mills]
He’ll either have the time of his life, or end up a drained, soulless husk. Or both. Knowing Lester, he’d probably be OK with either result.

Bad Influence
Of course the bard takes the credit for a successful social check. Our rogue doesn’t seem to mind.

Being Bad
Charlie may temporarily have the body and intelligence of a human, but a polymorphed owlbear still has no idea how to act in humanoid society. Singing Cricket is doing his best to keep Charlie out of trouble.
