I feel like 50% market share is a bit steep. I think we’re well past the point where anyone can and should be running Linux on the desktop.

The possibility of it is there, and that’s good enough for me, to be honest. Saying it’s not the year until we already have dominance I feel is a bit too much to ask.

For me, it’s when Linux was a viable desktop operating system to daily drive and still be fairly compatible with other operating systems, which was ages ago.
