Exactly… and I’m definitely living in a higher than average cost of living area. What people seem to think is if you can find overpriced food (they don’t seem to particularly care for) then they have an excuse to seem madder about food (they don’t seem to particularly care for) prices.
It makes you sound ignorant when you claim a common/boring but decent frozen veggie burger available at nearly any grocery store for like $5-7 is some kind of expensive bougie bullshit. Because it’s not.
I mean, that’s not what a smash burger is at all. They are actually tasty.
At today’s food prices, I don’t think it’s uncommon at all for a burger to be good enough to be worth $20 if it comes with a side. Some fast food places almost cost that much now and their quality is lower than the places I don’t mind paying a fairly standard meal price for a burger.
I get it, shit’s expensive and it sucks but it also feels so weird to me how often this drum is beaten of “burgers aren’t worth much money”. Why not? They can be very filling and delicious, and the burgers I like most have a least a semi-expensive topping or two on them.

k, valued insight
Hmm, so my current sale price on that beef is $16.83 and as the other person pointed out a 3 oz before-grilling burger is well below what anyone would be satisfied with. So at most I’m making 15 burgers with that and that’s not including tax. If you’re going back to 2007 for those $1.50 buns can you buy me a truck load or two while you’re at it? Even the store brand here on sale are $1.79 and again that’s not including tax. Bringing our pre-tax total to $22.20… shall I continue? Everyone I know who eats burgers prefers cheese on them so that a few more dollars on top of the other toppings/condiments too.
Either you live somewhere even cheaper than the small town I’m from, significantly, and also do not pay sales tax, or from where I’m sitting there is not way in hell you’re making 20 burgers with $25. That’s not even if you skimp on the meat, get everything on sale, and provide barely any toppings. To be honest with you, the last time that ratio seems possible was like 10-15 years ago.
$25 can get me the ingredients for 20 hamburgers
No it cannot. 10 would be a large stretch, let alone 20.
Burgers, in general, are shit.
I don’t hate or love burgers. I’m just a realist.
Sounds like you don’t like them. Which is an affront to food everywhere.
Nah man it’s standard everywhere /s
I have seen people say this so many times but apparently I’m missing that because while I have seen it, it’s somewhat rare and usually it at least does include a side also.
Is that a couple of floating scrotums?
Is this meme so stale that it’s been reposted years later, months past her death? Wow comedy gold /s

I would largely agree, but I feel like this post is just meant to buy you some street cred after the other troll posts you’ve made recently. Yeah, sorry, doesn’t work.

It shows that you’re an obvious troll

You’re unconvinced that accelerating climate change is unethical. Yowza you’re really starved for attention aren’t ya?

This should be the test for having a soul. If there’s no difference there for you, we know there’s nothing like a soul in you.

Initial response:
Hahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahaha hahahahahaha hahahahahah
Additional response:
You just took a shit on human creativity and posed it as a discussion about whether human creativity should be shit on.
Well if you’re a Republican… You didn’t deny it…
