Ada is heavily involved in 196, nothing happens in Blahaj without the explicit or implicit approval of Ada

Its clear that Ada has chosen a path regarding this matter, and that is fully in line with the reactionaries. Its 196 and LibertyHub, ironically the two communities which I was one of the most central figures in.

Im making a new community altogether, hopefully soon it will grow larger than anything I have ever made before

Initially the community was created link but I joined on extremely quickly (I believe less than a week later), I was here since the start basically in a way twiddle wasn’t. When he left I was still here and I was left to clean the mess, I convinced him to return even for a short period of time, and then I got busy with life and other things well now I have time and I come back to a community in ruins. Sure it was partially my fault, so I will do what is necessary. Its been less than a couple of hours and the db0 community already has more members than the amount of active people here.

The metaphorical dead weight of the history, I want to leave it behind and this community is too tied to my name to simply let devolve into something worse.

I discussed this with the other db0 admins and many other people, I did not make this decision with the other mods because for the most part they are inactive.

Ideally the goal is a left unity community, this has always been the goal however it has drifted away from it in recent times.

Because a revival on another instance is easier than dragging around the dead weight.

I copied over the old sidebar basically as a placeholder until I can figure out a new one, however making the change that’s needed to this community is simply not possible with the current team of mods

Maybe I was a bit rash but knowing how these things go I would have waited possibly several months just to contact you and then several more months just to have a discussion, if you want to acturally talk im willing to talk and postpone the decision in the meantime

You dont get to leave this community abandoned for several months and then act like you suddenly care, answer me genuinely before seeing this post did you actually plan on doing anything with this community? Because if you actually care enough to do something im willing to let you keep this place around.

This isnt about 196, this is about ensuring that this comm can exist on an instance thats federated with more instances.

Quite frankly this community is dead, what am I supposed to do argue over the corpse of what once was?

This community has been dead for months now, dont pretend like this is some big deal here. The last time this community had any level of activity was well over a year ago. If you didnt get this notification you would have continued to keep this community abandoned. All im doing is formalizing it and starting anew in another instance.

You can either choose to join the new comm as a mod or dont, make your decision.
