The funniest common combination I see on cars is the Gadsden flag (don’t tread on me) and the thin blue line flag (support for cops). I don’t know how to read that any other way than “I support cops targeting those people.”

My wife and I were talking about a draft for Iran and whether they would widen the age range they’re looking for and try to draft me. I said that if they tried, I would promise them that if they handed me a gun that I would use it to kill as many high ranking American officers as I could because I’m much more dangerous than a pacifist or conscientious objector; I will actively sabotage a war that I don’t believe in and that I’m forced to participate in. So I think they’d let me stay home. If you force me to give my life for a cause, I’m gonna be the one to pick the cause.

I think he smells like Satan’s maggoty cum fart.

Agreed. I’m sure there have been and will continue to be some deaths as a direct result of abruptly halting aid like this, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the broad result was actually a soft power vacuum that enabled China to casually dance their way into being the good guy for millions of people, paving the way for good international relations in regions that were otherwise gonna be hard as fuck for them to enter. Now their foot is in the door.

Right? In his sad little roast, trump said that Kaitlan Collins is attractive and also said that she looks like Dylan Mulvaney. So he thinks that Dylan Mulvaney is attractive. Which is fine, but it’s weird that he also is trying to erase trans people. It’s like these assholes are afraid of being attracted to somebody and then finding out that they have a penis, and that would make them gay, and gay=bad, so then they hate themselves. But like, who the fuck cares. Go fuck your wife and quit worrying about the genitals of people you’ll never have a hope of fucking in the first place.

I’m not saying that it was the government who did that calculation. I think that companies did that calculation. I think that losses in revenue and even worse forecasting led companies to loudly call for blanket changes in policies so that the bleeding could be stopped. And then they got massive loans to get through the tough times, and most of those were forgiven, so it was effectively a business stimulus package.
I think it had nothing to do with life value and everything to do with consumer confidence. A loud minority still wanted to go out, but that wasn’t adding up to a whole lot of money, and they were gonna soon run out of customers at the rate they were getting hospitalized. Not to mention the impact to the workforce.
I was just talking with my wife about flu shots. Health insurance covers an annual flu shot, and it’s because it lowers their cost to have as many people vaccinated as possible, even though they have to pay for that shot. Similar sort of calculation.

They did sort of try to just let it run its course. Dan Patrick even said on TV that a bunch of old people should sacrifice themselves to save the economy. Hell, even after it was found to have really spread and start killing everybody else too, Dr. Oz said we should send kids back to school because it would only result in 2-3% total mortality. They tried to do nothing. They tried to demonize wearing a mask. They tried to keep businesses and schools open. They really didn’t want to do anything differently, and they didn’t until cases and deaths skyrocketed. And there are still an embarrassing amount of people who think that the shots didn’t help and were actually harmful, most COVID deaths were not from COVID, and masks are for “woke libtards”. The post that we’re commenting on is far from an anomaly.
Yes, but some won’t acknowledge that it’s already happening (upwards), and they’ll criticize the general concept as taking money away from people who earned it. I will tell you that I worked harder for near minimum wage than I do now for above median wage. The people benefiting from the status quo tend to demonize any threat of changing the status quo, and the language used is intentional in order to frame an argument that assumes that their preferred system is the default and normal one.

Because one of those things is contagious, impacting consumers and laborers and therefore halting commerce until addressed. It was determined to be more profitable to give away free shots. Yay capitalism.

Has the tipster been arrested? No? Then that would be the result of a false report against Republicans too, right? No? Why do you think that is?
They’re all fine with redistribution of wealth, but only in one direction.

Yes. But they won’t realize it until it’s too late, despite your comment. They can’t read.

He can feel free to greenlight it himself like he did for his shitty Netflix sitcom. I only know anything about that because of the Maggie Mae Fish YouTube video about it.
Seconded. I started with PopOS but wasn’t sold on it, so quickly switched to Mint and it was perfect. Once my wife test drove on my installation, she gave it a shot on her laptop, and now she gets frustrated when she’s forced to use Windows for her college test proctoring spyware she has to use.
Here’s a link for anybody curious to get started. I like Cinnamon. Just download the OS and flash it to a flash drive, boot into BIOS, select the flash drive to boot from, and you’re testing a live version of the OS. If you like it, you can install through pretty easy install wizards. It doesn’t pester you to buy shit like Windows does. And there’s a safe and easy app store for most of what you’ll care about, and it just works. It gets the fuck out of your way. And if you have issues, just google it and you’ll probably find somebody already figured out the solution and shared it with plebs like us.

Many are saying that they would grieve with a bottle of champagne that they have on hand. I myself have a special bottle of bourbon set aside for just such an occasion. We may need to set that day aside annually as a day of mourning, allowing people time off from work and school to reflect.
Also vibes, gut feeling, and I heard it from some guy. But mostly just facts, and I guess that’s not worth much these days.
