I still don’t understand why others didnt start saying “If anyone is caught covering this up in the future, you will be prosecuted.” Seems a simple way to get someone to leak the facts.

There’s no video confirming that Mitch McConnell is alive, because he died a few weeks ago.

Exactly. And if he didn’t, there’s one way they can easily prove it. Refusal to do so is an admission.

Seems even McConnell’s staff is incapable of serving the people of Kentucky. Hopefully they’ll remember at the ballot box that the GOP was more interested in serving itself than their constituents.

Let’s say they do confirm it after, is that not blatant election interference? I know laws mean little right now, but they don’t have to in 5 months.

An autospy would be able to tell when he died, and likely the age of injuries if they’d been keeping his corpse fresh from whatever has vegetablized him.

Spokesperson Robert Steurer, 59, who has worked on McConnell’s team for more than two decades, refused to answer questions from independent journalist Nicholas Ballasy on two separate occasions on Wednesday.

Ballasy uploaded video of both encounters to X. The latest features Steurer, who stands to earn more than $226,000 this year from his role on McConnell’s team, simply walking away from the camera as Ballasy asks about a possible video statement from his boss.

    Ballasy move.

I saw a video by a woman whose company does business with the hospital, and she has to drop off brochures on every floor, so she has the run if the hospital, including restricted areas. She went up and down every hall, on every floor, and didn’t see him in any room in the hospital.

He isn’t even in the hospital. He’s either ina long-term care facility, or a morgue somewhere.

They already won whatever stupid game they were playing. The Republicans ALWAYS win the delay game. They wanted to delay until August 3rd or whatever the exact date is they needed to pass and July is essentially over, so they won. None of this matters anymore.

It actually matters more and more until the deadline for a special election has passed. Then it matters for another day or two in case Kentucky decides to hold a special election anyway. THEN it stops mattering when they never do.
