Once the midterms are over, Trump could face his worst fear: irrelevance. He will be a lame duck, down to his final two years in office, and at some point will no longer be the nation’s top topic of conversation. As focus shifts to the presidential primaries, Trump risks disappearing from the headlines. Even some of his closest allies don’t know how he’ll react.
Fucker not going leave the office just because his term is up. We are either going have him drag from the white house or Congress going let him pull his coup and he gets his third term. Anyone who thinks he just going not become a dictator is not paying attention.
My only hope is he dies in the next two years and we don’t have to find out what him turning us into a true dictatorship looks like. Maybe Vance will have him off or something.
But if Trump still breathing and still has two brain cells to rumb together he isn’t leaving quietly. And 100% doubt any of the current GOP is willing to go against him. Why he is putting in yes men in all the most top positions in the military that will fall on the sword for him. And why most of any of the old guard Republicans are retiring or being replaced with Maga.
Hang on folks because mid terms are going be hell with ICE and Trump announcing military emergency and sending in the Troops. And if the AI bubble doesn’t pop in next two years Trump going make our life so goddamn miserable we will either have to revolt or die I don’t know. But lets hope for a stroke before the midterms and Democrats taking back enough control to do goddamn something other then point fingers and write strongly worded bullshit letters.
And if the AI bubble doesn’t pop in next two years
I’m not sure which is going to be worse - the AI bubble not popping, or the AI bubble popping.
I say that as someone who watched the dot-com bubble with a lot of apprehension from within IT. I was not even tied to dot-com work, but the job market sucked balls when everything melted down.
I’m sure a lot of people imagine it will be the obnoxious techbro C-suite types that will be made to suffer and have to get real jobs and actually work a day in their lives when it implodes.
Turning on reader mode in IronFox gets around it
Same in ice raven, does this always work? Thats cool, thanks for the tip!
Of course! It unfortunately doesn’t work with bigger sites like WSJ or 404, but I always try as it works for a decent number of paywalls.

I have no such illusions.
