One side supports Israels crimes and is actively working on establishing a facist America.

The other side supports Israels crimes and doesn’t do that other stuff. Easy choice.

Is it too much to ask for an option that doesn’t support Israels crimes? I mean I know we can’t have nice things in the US but still. Would be nice to not have to pick between two options that looooooove genocide

If people fail to vote, yes. Every time the Republicans are in power, they restrict the right to vote more and more. If you don’t vote, or encourage others not to vote, you support the goals of people who want you to not vote, which is to say fascists and authoritarians.

I have tried talking to people about this issue before, and a frequent response I get is “what’s aipac” or complete unawareness or concern for anything going on overseas. Some people just can’t be bothered to tune in to anything related to politics

It’s not too much to ask at all. Fight for it as hard as you can. But until you actually have that option in an election, you should vote for the (much) lesser evil.

Obama deported more people than any other president and loudly supported ICE. He supported the Afghanistan war knowing full well it was another Vietnam. He bombed people left and right when he felt like it and propped up dictatorships.

For people who are marginalized and people who are victimized by either regime, a vote red or blue doesn’t mean shit. Obama started with the children in cages. Think those children gave a shit? Think Palestian children gave a shit when Israeli soldiers held competitions on who can maim and kill the most children using US supplied ammo?

      No.

      Of course not.

So why the fuck should you. Because it’s White people being affected now? Wake the fuck up already. This shit has been going on for decades and it doesn’t matter who does it.

This may come as a terrible shock to you, but…

People lie to you to get into power. They’re not actually telling the truth on the telly, they’re telling you what they think will get you to vote for them.
