By now it’s safe to assume both sides are pretty worked up and thirsting for some violence. That’s the whole point though. Get people hooked on a culture war and division so they don’t both see they’re getting fucked two ways to Sunday. The best way to win is to sell to both sides.

One side has always thirsted for violence since that’s how they got everything they have, and the other side it’s starting to understand you can’t reason with inhumane people.

This is some “enlightened centrist” nonsense. One side wants to engage in violence for the explicit purposes of exploiting and harming those they see as lesser, the other only wishes to engage in violence to defend themselves against said oppression.

Fuck off with that “sell to both sides” fence sitting bullshit.

i mean you could read it that way, but i was getting more of a ‘this is not a left vs right problem it’s a top vs bottom problem’ vibe, and the top is working diligently to aim the libtards at the magats and vice versa so that neither will remember that everyone used to be able to afford groceries.

also fuck tom homan. i hope he gets three flat tires and explosive diarrhea on his drive home.

Essentially yes, the goal is division and particularly division with zero possibility of resolution so that the division is eternal. The worst outcome is people who have the most in common put down their differences and work together. Instead one needs to get people fighting one another over increasingly minute details. It’s best when it’s worked into an almost religious state of infallibility on both sides. We are the good guys and they are Satan incarnate and the only way forward or cure is their complete and utter removal. I mean that’s what I would do if I was manipulating the masses and never wanted them to wake up from the spell we’ve cast on them.

It’s interesting, if one sits down and listens to the other side they are saying the same. It’s very ingenious actually. I believe the goal is to work two groups into an incurable division aka you want both sides to know they are the good guys and know the other side are essentially the spawn of Satan. The absolute worst case scenario would be these two sides putting down their differences and working together. That’s why it’s at a state of religious infallibility, you can’t have anyone on either side questioning it less they be labeled something even worse than the enemy, some lukewarm traitor to both sides.

you know if you listen to flat earthers they say they are the ones with proof and the round earth is fake and dumb

perhaps it is your job to determine truth accurately using evidence and not just go “a disagreement, how fascinating”

For sure. Both sides have some self discovery to do unless one truly believes 100% of policies and actions taken by their chosen political party are unquestionably correct. There’s a lot of common ground to be found between people if they were to relax and not go full bore tribalism with politics. Unfortunately people really like tribalism and owning or dunking on whoever their opposition is. That is people usually prefer being right to such a degree they are willing to disregard the wellbeing of everyone for it. Obviously you see this behavior in your opposition, but maybe it’s a little harder to see in the tribes you identify with.

One side wants every one to have access to healthcare, human rights, and livable wages. The other side is literally killing you in the streets.

Fuck off with this “but both sides” crap.

Do you believe the political party you prefer has made no errors or questionable decisions whatsoever aka all policies and actions have been infallibly correct?

I’ve found personally that a small amount of humility in talking to people I highly disagree with politically transforms the discussion from a tribalistic us vs them into a mutual exploration of what is best for us both aka a mutual walk towards Truth.

I’m not saying to switch sides, just that not treating people like mindless ghouls helps in bridging gaps and ending this ultimately disastrous division that has been festering not just locally but internationally.

The absolute worst outcome for the most powerful is the vast majority who have the vast majority in common with one another working together.

Nice of him to give us a way to avoid his wrath. Unfortunately, he will not get the same in return. His corruption and violence are well-documented for history, and he will answer for his crimes.

They can keep you fed and entertained just long enough for them to come take you to the camp. Remember that. You’re not waiting for all your neighbors to suddenly “get it”. Everyone is experiencing that to some degree or another. You and I are just torturing ourselves with worry if we’re not doing anything but pointing at each step of fascism. Lead by action not by words.
