The entire capitalist and imperialist system that BOTH PARTIES serve is evil. The American people’s minds are infected with billions of dollars worth of red/blue propaganda to keep them voting for this evil system instead of overthrowing it.

You see two meals in front of you. One is a chicken sandwich with fries. The chicken looks undercooked and might give you food poisoning and the fries are colorless and cold. The other meal is hard to recognize because the battery acid on the plate dissolved most of the food and some of the razerwire, but most of the shards of glass are still there. You look back and forth and conclude: “Yeah, these are exactly the same”

Your daily reminder that BlueMaga liberals don’t consider foreigners human, because it would be impossible to think this is an apt analogy if you do.

I don’t know why liberals are obsessed with metaphor to cape for genocidal imperialists, but the fact of the matter is that you do not have to eat either. The system itself must be overthrown, because both “sandwiches” are battery acid. Both will kill the world and those abroad as the US Empire continues to decay.

Not sure why you’d assume I’m a liberal, but it really doesn’t matter. I agree that both parties suck and the whole thing needs to be overhauled, but to say both parties are the same is just plain false. One is obviously worse than the other, and acknowledging that doesn’t mean I want either party. Until we have some revolution, harm reduction is still a valid option.

The whole sandwich metaphor is a liberal argument. It isn’t based on materialist analysis, but instead emotional rhetoric and subjectivism. If you want to make an argument, then do so based on materialist analysis.

I only see two factions of the US bourgeois party committed to defend their class interests and their imperialist project.

Not entirely true, if public ownership is the principal aspect of the economy and the working classes control the state, then it’s socialist. If such a state decided to tax billionaires out of existence it would not change the form nor essence of the economy, just change the level of wealth for the capitalists that do exist, and as economies centralize over time capitalists in socialist countries exist in a continually shrinking pond with no way out to begin with.

Problem is with a two party system or a system that requires parties to have lots of money and thus be owned by a tiny minority, it’s either that or don’t participate and a greater evil is sure to win. Is that better?
