    Nobody can stop you militarily, you dumbfuck. But if the world starts seeing you as a serious threat, first thing is gonna be cash in your huge debt, and second, tax the hell out of all your oligarch tech companies.

    You, child rapist, still haven’t realized that you are in that position of “power” only because, to the rest of the world, your fuckery is still within limits to justify them for the benefit of making business with your country. But the moment you cross that line, you are in for a bitchslap in the face so strong that might cost you your country.

      Unfortunately, Trump is just spouting the right-wing mindset in the U.S. - we have overwhelming military power and can do whatever we want. It is black and white thinking, with zero room for a more nuanced view that better accounts for the reality of the situation. The U.S. has to roll over ~1/3 of it’s national debt this year, with the bonds coming due. Not only can the rest of the world dump U.S. bonds, it can also refuse to buy more. As it stands, in a “best case” scenario the U.S. is going to be replacing the old bonds with new bonds at a higher interest rate, increasing debt service load. Add in the fact that Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” has pushed the budget deficit to over 6%, Trump’s tariffs and efforts to eject low cost workers are shrinking the economy and driving up inflation, and Trump will be putting in a lackey as chair of the Fed this May, and you have the makings of a financial crisis with the potential to destroy the dollar and eliminate its status as the world’s reserve currency. 2026 is going to be an interesting year…

        He still thinks he can just bomb anyone and that will solve any crisis (as in: if they talk about the bombing, they don’t talk about other issues). But the fact, as you put so well, is that he’s ignoring a potential crisis that might end the US as a country.

    So the USA is attacking Venezuela, Nigeria and Somalia, is likely to attack Iran again, and is threatening Mexico, Cuba, Colombia, Greenland, Canada and possibly Panama. Meanwhile it has announced its intention to undermine democracies throughout Europe for not being fascist enough. All the USA’s former allies (except Saudi Arabia and Israel) need to realize that the USA is now not an ally but a major threat, and act together to defend themselves.

    Canada, Europe and Mexico at least need to be working together to defend their countries from the USA’s attacks. Intelligence sharing with the USA needs to stop; adherence to pre-Trump agreements with the USA needs to stop. Unfortunately Canada seems to be pursuing appeasement and Europe is dithering while the USA attacks its democracies. It’s time to recognize the new reality that the USA is not an ally but a major threat.
