Now I’ve seen that it is not actually that scary, I might switch to Arch and not use the dhh distro. I might reuse some config files though.

Yes, without fluff and strict outlines, best is an actual template… But the prompts you give, are most easily given as if you’re talking to a 20 yo junior. Or maybe even better a 10 yo junior.

Is prefab parts not a common practice with newly build houses? Like, you get a truck with some walls and a roof, you stick them together, put in some wiring and plumbing, stick on some plaster and repeat for the next house?

I’m not Amerucan, but as far as I know, America often builds houses en mass. Often in factories. Everything is standardized, zo many houses look the same. It wouldn’t be weird if a set also looked exactly like a real, standardized, house. These “now” pictures could be from a look-a-like house.
