From everything ive seen he’s not actually apologized TO the women he abused, he has only ever really made public apologies where he says “this is all true, i thought I was okay by asking for consent beforehand” when there is credible reporting that on multiple occasions he did not even bother to ask for consent.

Basically compares the allegations as detailed in the initial reporting with jokes, podcast, and radio appearances that Louis has done in the past as well as his actions and statements after the allegations were made public. And the obviously biased and very condensed version i can give you is that there are several stories he told on opie and anthony about events that bear enough resemblance to the allegations to determine that there are likely more victims who have never come forward and never been recognized and that Louis has been working to minimize how this negatively impacts him without ever going so far as to actually try to make amends with the women he abused.

If you are tempted to watch some I’d say start at the beginning and around the first time you catch yourself thinking “this fucking guy” after a clip of Louis telling a “funny” story on a podcast back before the allegations came out, then you’ve got the gist and the rest of it is just stacking more receipts

Can’t recommend this series enough, does it need to be over 5hrs, not really, but it does paint a very thorough picture of the whole timing of Louie’s misconduct and his response to being exposed

Just taking this opportunity to remind everyone that Louis C.K. has never made any tangible steps to make amends with the women he abused and yet he still goes on podcasts and talks about how the reporting on his sexual misconduct damaged his life and reputation as though he is the true victim

But think of all of the buildings that have no wheels and tens or hundreds of doors. And what about cabinets, they unequivocally have doors and only occasionally have wheels

When I first heard about Louis C.K.'s sexual misconduct I thought it was not the biggest deal in the world, thinking naively that he admitted to it and that he had “asked” first, but I have since come to realize that he is just a predator who manipulates his audience with his “schlub” persona to avoid responsibility for his own actions.

If you really want to know who Loius C.K. is, you should checkout the Comedy Without Errors youtube channel which does a phenomenal deep dive into him and his response to the allegations. It comes off almost like several episodes of behind the bastards.

The behavior you’re describing is gross. But, you are interpreting subtext based on your personal experiences when there is absolutely nothing in the OP that is threatening at face value. It is just a meme, take it how you want to, but it seems a little hyperbolic to jump to this being some kind of implied threat over a description of a 4 sentence conversation.

I dont see where you’re getting threatening from. The quote is just “I’m so glad you like her” and then the exchange explaining he was talking to his dog. And as someone who has a very good friend whose dog hates me its not always a guarantee that your dog will get along with someone and it can make hanging out difficult.

As someone who considers themselves a large proponent of swipe texting i have been increasingly running into issues where a word i want to type is almost unreachable with swipe texting because the letters are in too straight of a line on the keyboard and so it only interprets the beginning and ending letters or it takes another word that lies an a similar line
