That’s awful, I feel for you. Where I live the police don’t care about stolens bikes. Similarly, my old 1989 Ford car got stolen and they didn’t seem to care about that either, until it was abandoned out the front of some house blocking their driveway. Then I had to pay the impound to get it back.

I know nothing of poetry so I cannot comment on whether it’s technically correct or now. I just happened to see it on the all page. But this did resonate with me. I think it’s great!

These were common in the 80’s, perhaps nearly 90’s. I remember the ads for them on TV and tried them only a couple of times. They were advertised more fancy than they actually were.

The back, top, bottom and sides all get hot. So you’re right in that it’s radiating the heat, it just does use the typical radiator on the rear.

I have a modern fridge which is about 15 years old now. Simple digital control, multi zone temperature control, no radiator on the back, stainless steel. It was very expensive at the time but it keeps going and hasn’t required any maintenance other than occasionally cleaning the inside.

The fridge I had before this one was a cheap Beko and lasted less than two years.

I’ve never heard it as a racist term either. Not saying it isn’t, just I’ve never heard it.

I’ve just looked it up and apparently it is a thing. I always thought it was a descriptive term for head.

In my wife’s language the word for coconut and head are almost identical. Same letters, only 2 are switched.

I don’t know if it’s still a thing these days but when I was younger some of the lad I knew claimed to reinstall the cat and mid muffler for the MOT then reinstall their “race” parts.

I also might be wrong here but I think if police claim the car is unsafe then you have book the MOT to test if it’s unsafe. Not sure where that leaves the driver though, can they drive it home first? No idea.

I guess where it becomes a serious issue if when the driver of a bypassed car is in an accident and it goes to court. The car was seized at the place of the incident so never had features re-enabled.

My opinion has alwaya been called it what ever you like, so long as people know what you’re talking about. S.Q.L. sequel, sequal, whatever. They’re all close enough to be understandable.

I’ve seen similar videos (without the child throwing) where kids eject and already broken bicycle in front of a motorbike forcing him to stop, then claim the bike is broken because of the motorbike. Basically trying to scam/steel from him.

Go back far enough and the people doing horrid things were also your people.
