Drawing is fun. There’s something really fulfilling about taking an image or idea from your imagination and turning it into a physical reality in front of you. It’s a hobby humans have had since we first became humans, and I’m not about to let some machine take that away from me. I don’t care if it takes me minutes or weeks, the effort is what makes the piece mine. There’s no substitute for that satisfaction.
It’s also pretty dang cool to be able to literally show people what you’re thinking. Being an actual artist gives you the power to do that.

AI bros spreading their opinions far and wide.
AI-bro is right in one thing though, drawing does take time
and yet the artist was able to produce a drawing of them fornicating with the parents in mere moments…Was the interaction premeditated, or is that just what they like to draw?
prior to AI some people traced over real art or just ran it through a copy machine could also claim they saved time but they are still incapable without the real artist coming up with the art in the first place to copy from, cannot claim it as their creation, still cannot teach how to create art and will never experience the pleasure, therapy, effort or skill that changes the brain as it learns from creating the art.
but hey : they saved themselves some time.
they might also save time not being born to experience life if it is that much of a bother for them
I’m gonna need that last panel… for science.
That’s the spirit!
Looks like someone got ragebaited!
gold
Wait, so he says that AI can’t generate obscene things because of all the filters but then fails to publish an obscene drawing himself? Is that really a win?
I say it is,because the point wasn’t really your chance to jerk off…
Wasn’t the point to show that he can do something AI can’t? But in the end neither of them can do it, just for different reasons?
Wasn’t the point to show
No, it wasn’t. Smart people can understand the message without being specifically shown using crayons.
Maybe you would gt the irony here if someone drew it with crayons.
Ah, yes, the “no u” argument. Truly the peak of arguments that is in no way the last option for those scraping the bottom of the barrel
As a side note, I’m also a little sick of hearing people use the term ‘Luddite’ without any knowledge of the historical context.
