- Some people want no abortions under any circumstance.
There is literally no scenario (or “deal”) where both of those groups of people would be happy. They’re absolutely mutually exclusive. But like everything else that fat slobbing orange skidmark says, it’s vapid and gibberish enough that his supporters hear whatever they want to hear.

TBF a ban with an absolute TONS of exceptions, from genetic defects to being underaged etc, would probably please like 90% of people. But Trump cannot and will not give people that.
Trump just talks bullshit, just like how he said he wouldn’t get Roe v Wade overturned, and how he said he would make a better ACA replacement that makes everyone happy.
Exceptions actually aren’t good. Either they have no teeth and anyone can get one with a simple lie, which pisses off abortion foes, or the exception is just used to delay abortion to the point of illegality (or death of the mother), pissing off abortion proponents.
I guarantee this wouldn’t make 90% of people happy.
If Trump passed it (which we established he never would) then Fox News would say it’s the most thorough and concrete anti-abortion rhetoric ever spoken and none of his idiot followers would think otherwise, so I think it would make 90% happy.
