Still confused as to why some people here link to ‘mix’ auto-generated playlists that play random stuff instead of just the one song they meant to share.

Bit of a weird attitude to have, when you seemingly use Spotify as your main music service. Firstly, Spotify limits availability of their entire service by countries, seemingly half-randomly. Secondly, pray tell, is Gruuthaagy available on Spotify?

Hmmm, usually when you search for a song, first comes the result for ‘Artist - Song’, which is the individual video. Then a couple items down comes ‘Mix - Artist - Song’, which is the mix, also identified by an icon.

As for Gruuthaagy, I asked because it’s a pretty obscure Croatian noise artist, whom I first discovered via torrents. For a long time, he was nowhere else to be found except in pirate uploads on YouTube — now he’s also on Bandcamp. Similarly, YouTube is the sole service where some other records are present, especially for free.

If I recall correctly, you mostly have records locally. But, as a victim of multiple failures of physical media, I would recommend keeping a list of all those records — and then you can conveniently link them to online services so as not to fiddle with the local records each time. For this purpose, I link my notes to Bandcamp and YouTube in that order of preference.
