People say that, but remember Hillary won by popular vote. The electoral college screwed her over because of its convoluted rules that made Drumpf win by technicality. However, it’s a different story in 2024, with Kamala only coming in at the last second with little time to prepare and her flip flopping neoliberal policies did not win enough voters.

I think it’s mainly Americans who don’t believe in climate change. I don’t live in the US but I am yet to meet a non-American who does not believe it’s real. Although, unfortunately, said people may think climate change is real but it is at the bottom of their priority. The far right idiotically and pathetically fail to link climate change with migration. The former think migrants simply want to cause havoc. Most people don’t leave their places unless it’s economic, which climate change is wreaking havoc upon because the vulnerable and poor global south don’t have the means to cope with warming weather that causes drought. Meanwhile, the billionaires are laughing all the way to the bank and stringing us along like puppets. And we are all too happy to be played upon.

I don’t know about you guys, but plenty of people are workaholic because it distracts them from their own lives outside of work. I’m not judging those who do this, but that’s the baseline from which oligarchs use to justify their desire for control of humanity

There are independent dating apps like Coffee and Bagel and Bumble, but either those apps don’t have many people or copying Match’s anti-consumer behaviour like Bumble does.

You probably already know how the history of liberalism developed, but it was developed during tumultuous periods in European history of constant warring due to differences in beliefs (as well criticism on government control on economy by mercantilism). So, modern day liberals have strong, almost co-dependence I would say, to sticking to “decorum” and “process” as you mentioned. I still see many liberals can’t fathom the possibility of a far right entrenchment and afraid to even consider of taking up arms or a civil war against a tyrannical government. That being said, to be fair to the liberal American founding fathers, they recognise the possibility of a tyrannical government and included the second amendment as last resort. However, many liberals are afraid to even consider taking arms if it comes to it (which is understandable because of the previous civil war), and think the next midterm elections won’t be interfered upon by Trump and his broligarchs.

He was taken aback and hasn’t said anything. A lot of people would not have heard of things that are unequivocally bad about billionaires because social media algorithms glaze them for the masses, and opt out the billionaires’ assault on social progress and democracy.

Even if there is potential to self-driving technology, the wait is very long because the technology is still nascent and unproven. Are people willing to put money on stocks that won’t grow for years or years? It’s the same with space stocks. This just vindicates the principle of value investing: invest in companies that are already profitable.

I spoke to a guy who seems to be right leaning, kinda believes in outdated preconceptions such as men are naturally inclined to be spreading his seeds and cited billionaires like Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk. I told him most of Elon Musk’s children are IVF-conceived.

Yeah dating apps are silly. It replaced bars as places with bad reputation to try to meet partners. I’m short but still have gotten interests from girls in real life despite my height, not so much in dating apps.
