        I’m really happy for your posts. But the offcut on the title is really off putting. The posts themselves are great, but I allways have to check where the title cut off the get the push line which makes reading them tedious.

        This sounded more negative than I would like. There are hardly any posts here and I’m thankful for every content there is.

          hey the ellipsis in title is because lemmy title limit is 200 chars and some titles kind of dont fit

              im not a usability expert - but I think some people might find that also confusing. depending on which client they use - desktop, lemmy default, photon, or various mobile apps - imo ellipsis is more standard indicator of that its “incomplete”. im also not sure how every lemmy client display title when they open a post - they might cut off title already im not sure, so I figured safest is to repeat the title fully in a body if its cut as a title.

              I only repeat it if it does not fit. most post titles fit into lemmy limit just fine I think
