It’s like 50% broken. I can still activate it but only from a specific angle and it’s not as clicky.

Back when the news dropped that they were potentially dropping the replacement parts for LCD, the news was focused on the battery. However mine needs a new LB, so I had been looking at that. Those also increased in price around the same time, nearly 150%.

Small nitpick, but any company that produces a product is also going to sell that product, they just may not be selling it directly to consumers. Companies that are selling to other companies still have someone in charge of doing that. Otherwise they wouldn’t make any money on the things they produce.

Look, I want it bad. It was actually the one I was most excited about, a little bit more than the controller.
But, yeah. Look at every tech release of the past four years. Look at SSD and RAM prices. Hell even spinning platter drives. Everything has a wait list, or gobbled up by scalpers. And if you do win the wait list lottery, it’s going to cost a goddamn arm and leg. It’s depressing man.

Oh I see. I think people just downvote shit they don’t personally agree with no matter how tame or on topic it is. 🤷♂️

I’m not sure what the discrepancy is. You say you went very sparingly the last few years. I would say that’s probably as much or more than I’ve gone the past few years, and that this last time I went, it was way better than I remember.
5 years ago would go into the timeframe where it was our go-to, but we’ve long since changed to A&W.
I’m just not at all sure what discrepancy you’re talking about. Do you mean my comments haven’t been consistent?

Yes, but almost certainly going to nope out when the price is announced.

Not if I can fucking help it.

Hm a few years or so, don’t know exactly when the last time I would have had it. We used to go to Tim’s for on the road breakfast but a few years ago starting being really disappointed by it, switched to A&W.

Seems like a question for WestJet. You should call them and tell them you’ll be switching your flight plans if they don’t settle with the workers, even if that’s not true.

I actually am super proud of some sweeping changes my partner and I have made to our diets in the past year or two. We’re eating way less processed food, probably 3x more fruit and veg, and a lot less red meat. Lost 32 lbs so far!

My partner and I generally do A&W for on the road breakfast, but this was an unusual morning and Tim’s was way more convenient this time. And then, for the donuts, I mean I didn’t pay for them.
I actually can’t compare to 15 years ago personally.

Nope, just a genuine lived experience. My partner and I usually go to A&W for breakfast stuff, and this was just an unusual circumstance. Since it just happened in my recent memory, and I saw the comment above, I thought I’d chime in. You know, the kind of thing that social platforms were designed for.

Honestly, I had Tim’s a week or so back and it was way better than I remember it being. Had a breakfast wrap and it was well constructed, stuffed, and tasted good.
Then not more than a day or two later, someone brought Tim’s donuts to work, and those too were better than I remembered.

The original post. Sorry, I thought that would have been more implicit than it maybe was.

That poster’s opinion of what is DRM is… interesting.

If you’re threatening to not vote, you’re also promising not to vote against them. Bit of a wash.

Read the core rule book. Play a session. Evaluate if I liked it enough to continue playing it.

Gears came out nearly two full years after RE4. It was one of the most influential games of all time for sure, and began taking the RE series in a more action orientated direction. It returned to its survival horror roots, but with a twist as the first game in first person, with RE7 and it was a real return to form.
GFWL wasn’t vibe coded? Yikes.
