Uma Musume (馬娘, literally “Horse Girls”) is a gacha style game by CYGAMES that has several anime. The idea is to take actual race horses, regardless of gender, and make them moe anime waifus that run huma-style footraces. One very popular one that I know, is Golshi, or the horse Gold Ship. From what I can gather, though, the mascot is supposed to be Special Week. (I only tangentially interact with pure gacha games because of my crippling fear of being addicted)

Your node_modules directory can get so bloated that the community came up with different package managers just for deduplication! pnpm, for example, makes one global-adjacent cache, and then just symlinks the dependencies as needed. Dude, Proton is so good for 2d gaming. I have, I think, 3X the number of Stardew Valley mods installed than when I had it on Win10. It’s at the point where I am deciding on whether to downgrade my Windows SSD and just use it for firmware updates (though I might experiment with running the DualSense tool in wine, instead).

Well, I’m one of the people who went through a period watching the anime raw, so I see your argument there. But if you read fast enough, it’s just, I don’t know, you stop consciously reading, and just watch the thing. Also, especially with modern American movies, the sound mixing is ass for the home speaker specifically because they’ve designed it that way. It’s easier to have the subtitles on, because they designed the soundscape for the theater (Christopher Nolan does it on purpose, for example) and stereo be damned, especially with dialogue.

That said, I’ve gotten out of pooh-poohing whatever way you want to enjoy your show; there’s not enough time on earth to worry about whether Tara Strong or Megumi Hayashibara is the better VA (my vote’s on Hayashibara, but Strong is my childhood, and besides, it doesn’t matter).

The Win10 iso that I definitely legitimately purchased has a ppApps folder that has Photoshop in it; I’ve always just assumed I would be able to delete it from there.
