how is it not obviously clear that military containment of China is no longer possible, if it ever was? America has not only been unable to break Iran, but Iran has won key tactical victories during this latest campaign. If half or so of the US’s inventory of stand off munitions/interceptors etc. are not sufficient to even match Iran (let alone beat them), then what possible hope is there of doing the same thing to a country with 15x more population and literally 100x the productive capacity of Iran? it doesn’t matter how many planes or munitions or whatever that America produces - China can make 10x more.
