It took me a while to get it. But yes, it’s the reading direction. After realizing I like the format.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What are the best unintentional ASMR videos?
1·1 day agoOkay so hear me out. If you like Warhammer or just a British man reading softly try this out.
I know he’s branded it as ASMR, but as he says in the video, he just reads some codices in a soft voice.
He also has a channel about painting old 40k models, if that’s your thing.
(I am not the guy in the vids, nor am I sponsored in any way haha. I just really like them for sleeping)
There’s also a number of dark souls/Warhammer lore videos I like that to fall asleep to of you’re interested.

24·1 day agoThis is far too outdated. OP should be ashamed. I wish Google play music still existed. Way better than YouTube.
I’ve had a sip or 2. But never for breakfast. Very astute observation.
Nice. Good to hear!
Any number of chemicals or medicines. Hard to say if it’s always been brown or the colour is due to degradation. Firefighters would probably be the best idea. Or like a hazardous chemical waste.
Just be careful not to break it open.

Canada@lemmy.ca•Doctors are using a regulatory gap to prescribe an unauthorized peptide
1·8 days agoHaving seen some drug submissions from actual pharma companies, especially ones that have polypeptides such as this one, so much work has to go into the safety of them.
Depending on how they’re made (synthetic, semi-synthetic, or biologically made) a large number of impurities can be in there. All of those need to be examined to see if they’re dangerous. Not to mention the possibility of microbial growth in the drug.
That’s just one aspect of how these may be dangerous. Even the glass bottle and cap are regulated for injectable drugs to check for interactions and such.
It seems like little to none of this (and many more aspects of drug safety) have been looked at for these. These doctors should lose their licenses for this (I don’t recall the article talking about repercussions for the doctors).

Just saying, it’s not too late…
Agreed, but sadly the religious people don’t see it that way (as I’m sure you know, I just hate how disillusioned they are).

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Any ideas on how to preserve an autograph on a surface that was designed to be stain resistant?
2·10 days agoYou and me both. My least favorite is finding out you missed a small step in a recipe and that you can’t fix it and just have to try to make the best of it hahah.
