I don’t respect this person’s decision. They decided to opt out of the most basic way they can participate, and think that it’s a morally superior position to allow the greater evil. That’s stupid. You and I know that the lesser evil can be influenced by public opinion, and the greater evil just doubles down. It’s a worse choice in every way, and allowing their country to crumble this way is petulant and bereft of responsibility and maturity.
