I dont think people understand how big the Dallas/Ft Worth metro is. Might be because there’s so little to do there for a metro that large.

I dont know if it’s bots or culture or whatever but the comments on reddit just slid into repetitive blither over a handful of years. This is the internet so I dont expect all interactions to be thought-provoking prose, but I do expect people to at least have their own thoughts. Here on Lemmy, for example, I can find that good ol’ home grown, individualistic blither. Just the way the internet intended.

It’s been the defining sentiment to the story when discussed in the US. The GOP has taken to the rhetoric of comparing heat deaths in Europe to gun deaths in US, as in Europe is being far more irresponsible not installing AC than US is not controlling guns (their words).

It’s one of the most egalitarian things. Dressing down is inclusive of people who can’t dress up. And as far as society goes, the world was very well dressed through the period it couldn’t stop declaring war on itself.
