I fucked up and in a moment of desperation to buy an age controlled substance I uploaded mine to a verifier.
It is more than likely a relatively shitty hard job.
Most shops have a shop time per hour, which lets say it’s 60, you would probably make like 20 an hour. But your hours are not time worked, they are what the body that sets the job time. So say you have to replace a water pump, and the job time is 10 hours. If you can do it faster you still make ten hours, but if it’s slower you still only make 10 hours.
There are pros and cons to every job of course, but generally speaking they get paid by the job, which can be profitable: if you’re quick, know what you need to do, and have what you need to do it. OR the exact opposite, figuring out what is wrong, doing a job, and you have to redo it because the parts that you got from the manufacturer are faulty, you still only get paid for one job. Or if that aforementioned water pump actually takes you 20 hours, it would hurt your bottom line.
My highschool autoshop teacher worked at a dealership with the only real exception I’ve heard about automotive, which is electrical. His shop time and pay was 100 an hour, but he hated that job.

Yeah

You know some people say Modesto is like the moon of uh, San Francisco
It’s definitely an enjoyable experience though, I have somehow managed to keep it at 220 hours. I will say after the first couple of games I started adding a titan (an endgame ship that you can build a handful of) to my new save files because I’m here for fun.
Might have to try some of the mods, and lose even more of my life to it!
Stellaris is the same way. When I got hooked I played 40 hours by Thursday. And I was in college, so I realized then I needed to be careful

What a great and measured take, u/i_am_not_a_robot

Yeah, I scream it from the rooftops (figuratively).

As someone who went to college on the GI bill, I was really looking forward 20k in student loan forgiveness.

I also can’t say that for certain; John Brown, comes to mind.
The best president is probably FDR, who was also dead by 1945.
Edit: Because it’s kind of funny for me, I’m leaving the John brown part, but you definitely meant people in power.
There are plenty of bright spots if you look.

My representative is so fucking infuriating.

Fighting for evil? I know one example is not enough, and ignores completely the plight of native americans from the founders. But to say they were fighting for evil I would say is a mischaracterization.
Art. 11. As the Government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian religion; as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquility, of Mussulmen (Muslims); and as the said States never entered into any war or act of hostility against any Mahometan (Mohammedan) nation, it is declared by the parties that no pretext arising from religious opinions shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries.
How could someone evil write something this cool?
Exactly that.

You say that, but my guy, some of the most abhorrent shit we did is less than the age of my grandpa.
Edit: fuck now that I think about it, it happened more recently than the birth of my parents.

Because they want to push power users away with hundreds of tiny cuts

I would be stoked, depending on the source. But with that I could take a noticeable chunk out of debt/buy a good pair of boots/use as a down payment on something.
But 20 a month would not make a noticeable difference, even if the end result would be the same. I can’t do anything with 20 dollars a month that I cannot do now.

They hide. I swear I’m going break one of the screens from getting pissed and pushing every button as hard as I can till it shuts up.
Absolutely the most accurate description of the war, so ever since highschool thats how I’ve seen it.
