I don’t think the beans comment is meant to be a direct insult to her. What it does is reframe the photo so readers notice “damn, that is a lot of beans” and now the laugh is that Nancy is gonna be rippin’ ass. It’s a cheap burn. It’s actually a blend of a few shops in Boise (BBQ4Life, Flying M Coffee Shop, High Note Cafe, Koffee Klatch), including one my ex and I started but tanked in the ‘08 recession (Black Sheep), plus the places in Portland (Red & Black Cafe) and Seattle (Squid & Ink) that inspired us.
