To be fair, competition in business does feel like a novelty these days.

Like, no, I want more money, not more work, thanks.

Oh my god! 4 white guys in a band? And they stand in a row to be photographed?
Its all just the Beatles!
Oh! I was reading the whole list as the POV of bad opinions, not OPs opinions opposing other common opinions. It all makes much more sense.
The US isn’t an oligarchy, but Trump isn’t an aberration?

14·15 days agoI’m all for it. Everywhere there’s space for an ad to be blended into the background of the game to subliminally market to me should be utilized to its fullest.
The games will be free, right? The ads are what pays for it, right?
I’ll admit I don’t know much about the polluting effects of nuclear, but wouldn’t it be considered a net benefit in regards to the devastatingly expensive damage of climate change compared to burning coal and gas?
And who the fuck is out there demanding the Canadian PM say something about a relatively old American senator dying of an illness? Literally the only reason to ask for a comment is to try to incite some inflammatory bullshit from one angle or another.
Its an Australian phone.

The hardest part is getting everyone on the same page about using it and caring for it correctly. Stainless steel is my choice because the maintenance is not something that can be messed up. If someone burns something on it, you do whatever you want to it. Soak it, scrape it, use whatever chemicals you want.
If you feel like your stainless steel isn’t as good as it used to be, give it a good baking soda scour, rinse, then wash it in vinegar (I’ll usually heat it up on the stove a bit to force it along). The baking soda will scratch off any carbonized food and the vinegar will dissolve any minerals. Both polish and restore the shine on stainless steel

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Where did the conspiracy theory that America was behind 9/11? Was there any evidence to back up these claims (real evidence)?
34·21 days ago“People think it had to be an inside job because they think no one else could hurt America.” Am I reading that right? That is the most bonkers anti-conspiracy take I’ve ever heard.
People believe conspiracies are real because they don’t trust the government. I don’t know if you’re aware, but they’re absolutely fucking right. The government isn’t even trying to hide their conspiracies now.

As always, communication is key.
Sounds like the group vibe is aiming for heavy combat, and the other player is wanting to min-max for numbers efficiency. But on the other hand, it sounds like your DM has an idea for some homebrew horror, which usually benefits from non-combat scenarios.
I wonder if maybe the group needs to reflect and see what page everyone is on.
Also worth mentioning that if youre a new player the other player may just be doing a bad job trying to guide you and isn’t intentionally trying to play your character.
Talk it out. When people let these things fester in their mind they tend to make them worse than they are.
