Mfw my mortgage had an entire section titled “Lorem ipsum”, written completely in Latin.

I mean, it’s chunks of real latin.

Edit: This seems to be wrong, see the thread for context.

If by chunks you mean individual letters of the latin alphabet.

Otherwise no, lorem ipsum is pseudo-latin, meant to emulate letter frequency and word length of latin, but not actual latin words.

What? Yes it does. “Ipsum” is a latin word, it means “itself”. It’s a fragment of “[Do]lorem ipsum, dolor sit amet”, “pain itself, for being pain”. It’s from, IIRC, Cicero.

Huh, I guess you’re right. At least regarding the first paragraph(s), which I would argue is the relevant part.

You should always have your own copy of any contract. Don’t rely on the other party to keep one for you.

Well doesnt this mean this person can stop making payments and keep the panelssince there’s no contract dictating that they keep paying on the lease?

All those “begats” at the beginning of the old testament. Everyone grew extremely old and died, except for Enoch. He broke the pattern. While he was a young man he went and “walked with God”. They left his story out of the bible but it lives on in the apocrypha.
